Your Favorite Player

In any team, in any position.

Who is your favorite player in the NRL. What excites you about watching them. Is it the running game they possess? Is it the towering torpedo's they bust out week in, week out? Are you expecting them to come out firing on all cylinders in '09?

Just curious to know what teams you quietly cheer on outside of your own team's game for the weekend, based on one player. (If any at all).

(Please do not name Michael Witt because you think he is the hottest man in the game.... You know who I'm talking about.)


Player for the Dragons:

Jamie Soward - Love seeing this guy when he's at full throttle. Most memorable moment would have to have been the last kick from scrum he did from about 30 metres out, and had Morris (Brett I think) get a hand on the ball just before it went into touch. An unreal running game when he get's it on, and manages to pluck holes out of nowhere.


Player outside the Dragons:

Manu Vatuvei - He's a scary looking f**ker sometimes and I dunno, I always think something really good is going to happen when he has the ball. Intriguing in a way I guess.

For the Storm: Sika Manu - I love watching a back rower run over people!

Outside the Storm: Josh Morris excited me last year when we played the dragons. Just his desire and courage, and willingness to throw himself at any ball.

Jamie Soward. Love his raw speed and his ability to excite the crowd. Looking forward to his 2009 season.

Outside Saints

I have to say Karmichael Hunt is probably my favourite player in the NRL. He is a brilliant player with all the skills, tough as a motherf*cker and someone I love to watch.

Favourite Dragon: Ben Creagh- inspirational, love the angles he runs and holes he hits, hits hard in defence, not afraid of the hard work

Favourite NRL player: Cameron Smith, as probably the most complete player in the competition. Takes all the right options, a brilliant leader and is a great defender to boot.
