So with the NRL Draw likely to be released in November and small leaks arising,
I wanted to see what would be your choices for the Round 1 fixtures for next year.
Mine would definitely be:

Sunday: Vegas Weekend
Roosters vs Broncos
Sea Eagles vs Rabbits

Thursday: (The next week)
Panthers vs Storm (Bluebet Stadium 7:50PM)

Friday:
Eels vs Bulldogs (Commbank Stadium 7:55PM)

Saturday:
Warriors vs Knights (Go Media Stadium 3:00PM)
Titans vs Dolphins (CBUS Stadium 5:30PM)
Cowboys vs Raiders (Queensland Country Bank Stadium 7:35PM)

Sunday:
Sharks vs Dragons (PointsBet Stadium 4:05PM)

Bye: Tigers

I want the same thing I want every year, yet to be rewarded, Melbourne to play at home for the first two weeks while the fumblers aren't playing.

I'd save the big clashes for later rounds, the start of the season is enough to get the crowds in.

This was actually kind of hard as I'd normally have a Broncos and Roosters or Rabbitohs home game to boost crowds.

Vegas Baby:
Roosters vs Broncos
Sea Eagles vs Rabbitohs

Thursday: Panthers vs Sharks 1 v 6
Winners vs Top 8 team - closer game - sell out. Sharks don't deserve a week 1 home game as their attendance will drag down the average. Any lower ranked team against the Panthers would be a blow out.

Friday: Storm vs Eels
Melbourne home game with no AFL on vs next highest ranked big Sydney team - 20k+
Live into Melbourne. Storm also have decent appeal with Qld viewers

Saturday: Warriors vs Raiders
Auckland home game. Top 8 clash 4 vs 8 - sell out

Saturday: Dolphins vs Dragons
Brisbane with no Broncos vs Big Sydney club similar rank on the ladder - 30k

Sunday: Bulldogs vs Tigers
A minor Western Sydney derby game between to similar ranked teams. An afternoon game to boost crowds.

Sunday: Knights vs Cowboys
Newcastle home game vs Qld team - sell out
Qld team will boost the TV audience and Knights were a Top 8 team

No major rivalry games wasted. Plenty of Top 8 match ups left for Weeks 2 to 5. Average for non-Vegas games 20k to 25k

Round 1 doesn’t need local derby’s or rival matches. Round 1 sells itself, it should be the lesser drawing combinations

It's only right that the NRL bends us over and sends us up to Townsville in the humidity. Oh let's forget the lube and schedule a 3pm kick off too. And then we'll follow it up in week two with another daytime game at the GC or Redcliffe.

6 remaining home teams should be Panthers, Dolphins, Storm, Warriors, Knights + one of the remaining Sydney teams that isn’t the Sharks.
