I am very glad some of you blokes arn't picking the test team. With the Kiwis have the greatest depth of players in its history, don't pick part timers in specialist positions.

1. Hoffman (but Locke could depend on game plan)
2. Manu (has to be in)
3. Matai
4. SKD (Glen might be in better form)
5. Nightingale...Almost guarantee a mix of those players
6. Benji (first picked)
7. Johnston (Foran is only other option)
8. Matalino (absolutely for sure)
9. Luke/Fien......Luke by default I think
10. McKendry
11. Mannering
12. Blair (out of form but simply the most abrasive forward in the game)
13, Jeremy Smith (getting old but the second most abrasive forward in the game)

14. E Taylor (outstanding form and workhorse. Cover centres)
15. S Rapira (if fit)
16 Sika Manu (overrated? What ever! What team is undefeated?)/Fien) depending on the game plan. Can Luke play 80 minutes?)
17. Eastwood (Play up front or backrow.)

Kinda don't like Foran at 14, but I feel like he needs to be there somewhere. Moimoi/TamouI wouldn't mind who gets picked.

Realistically Blair will be in there, probably no Pritchard and Manu to the bench.

Seriously, Bash, Nightingale at fullback ahead of Locke _and_ Hoffman?

Id go Foran over Johnson at the moment. Dont know if Shauny is ready just yet for a one off game. Would prefer him in at 4 Nations and give him 1-2 games before the Final and see if he handles it.

Sika has played some of his best footy for the Kiwis, seriously has been a beast. Barely had a poor game and is always one of our top forwards.

Obviously some very good players are not going to make the 17, just hope they don't go over to QLD/NSW if they miss out on a Kiwi jersey.

SKD should not be picked, his current form is rubbish. Johnson will replace Foran at some stage but I agree with an earlier comment to hold Johnson back for now. He will be our 7 at the world cup next year.

Foran would make an ass-kicking hooker I reckon, but I don't know diddly really. Wouldn't think Marshall and Johnson in the halves would be ideal, both too similar - awesomely flamboyant, prone to defensive lapses and mistakes. Johnson to replace Marshall in a few years seems a good plan. Marshall hasn't really been that awesome for the kiwis of late, does SFA for large periods of games. He is the man though.

Hoffman has been much better than Locke this season. SKD there due to lack of a better option, possibly Matai if hes back in time. A prop rotation of Tamou/Matulino/McKendry/Hargreaves would be awesome. Raperia unlucky, but could force his way into the team for Hargreaves if he returns in good form.

Wouldnt be even considering Rapira, even if he has blinders, by the Anzac test he would have only played what, 2 or 3 games? Thats just enough for him to get upto speed with the NRL, let alone an international

Matulino is the only Warrior prop that will be there for me.
Packer has a chance, but i don't think he will be picked.
