Well Loz has just said in the presser that Reynolds will definitely be in the side for Game II.

Hoffman wasn't too bad but he's replaceable.

Bird to the left, Gallen to lock, Grant or Woods to prop would help improve the forward functioning

I think someone like Graham in Reynolds' position would really balance the bench out, I think he covers that 6,7,9 but also an edge backrower which that bench is missing.

Keep the rest the same.

Well that's f**ked.

I'd also like to issue a sincere apology. Next time I ask a question, I'll be sure not to mention a souffs player.

I enjoy a good lol@50uffs as much as the next guy, and being accused of being a supporter is insulting.

In fact it is defamation.

I should sue you.

Very unlikely we'll have any changes.

I liked the way daley used the forwards so that all got their fair share of minutes. However it was noticeable we were tiring towards the end of the game and qld starting to get more of a roll on. And thats even with a good % of possession. And our left edge was a bit of a worry with qld (chiefly hodges) making a few breaks down that side.....

I would still want a forward in rather than that utility. But there is no way that the selectors wont continue on with one.

To say that merritt would be better compared to fergo has to be a joke.

Brett Stewart looks to have lost his spot for good.

I love the Snake more than most, but I've always advocated for Hayne to be fullback for NSW.

I still feel Snake's the superior club footballer week in, week out, but Hayne for a 3 match series is the man.

It is inevitable, so after a messy win against QLD, what (if any) changes would you make, and why?

I'm a big advocate of consistent line ups, but there are still a few changes that could improve our side without interrupting the progress so far.

My SOO side for game 2:

1. Hanye
2. Gordon
3. Jennings
4. Morris
5. Merritt
6. Maloney
7. Pearce
8. Gallen
9. Farah
10. Tamou
11. Bird
12. Lewis
13. Watmough
14. Grant
15. Woods
16. Merrin
17. Fifita

It's State of Origin, and you cannot have 16 against 17. We would be better off having a bench that we can actually use to its fullest.

Turd was... average. He's a good player, of course, but I think he's one of Daley's Canberra boys, and probably didn't quite earn that spot. Wingers fortunately can be chopped and changed a little. Merritt could have been safer under the high ball.

Buzz Morris was okay, not great. Could have gone with Gordon, who I believe is probably above Morris by a bit. Uate is worth a look, but has been silent this year too.

Going for mobility is fine, but a bit of grunt wouldn't have gone awry. Guys like Bird, Gallen and Watmough can really throw them off their game.

Hoffman was shit. Bellamy isn't coach anymore. Someone send Daley the memo that he doesn't need to keep picking useless storm players.

Anyway, my two cents.

Discuss.

Hahaha post of the year. My lineup

1. Kurt "oh" Godley (c)

Enough said

Some silly Parra fan trying to pretend Hayne >>>> The Dugan, when all and sundry know damn well that The Dugan >>>>> Hayne. It's a fact of the universe.

Grant in for Reynolds. Keep our forwards a bit fresher. We have Lewis and Bird as utilities if needed. Which is clearly not going to happen often enough to waste a bench spot for a player who is only there for injury.

I wasn't too impressed with Ferguson tonight, but have been a massive fan at club level so I think he deserves another go, especially since the Blues won.
I'd be inclined to keep the same squad. Now that Daley has said that Reynolds will be in game II, he at least needs some game time. (Captain Obvious here!)

Fergo was quiet because the game was mostly forward orientated, it almost never got out to the wingers and centers as the second rowers were crashing it up. he was solid on D though. I was happy with Morris as well, besides that one miss on Inglis, he didn't do much else wrong, plus he got a real nice tackle on Boyd when he was going for the line. Really impressed with the side, never really rated Merrin but after tonight I'll go and eat some humble pie. Maloney was outstanding as expected. Hoffman was just average, keep him. Pearce was invisible as always but yeah keep him too. Only change I would consider is Reynolds for someone who can add a bit more punch, eg Time Grant, Jamal idris, Tariq Sims

He might go missing for weeks at the Eels but you can't say he doesn't turn up for NSW
