Give us the details, Id love to own the set, and know exactly who to give it to, then I could get them remade as singular, Officeworks the Panthers for us and for you guys to grab
They where on eBay not there now.the guy did not know who made them but at the time would not seperate them .Pretty sure there where no trademarks back then as I have stickers and many other things penrith from that time period

My father-in-law, who is a Rabbitohs fan (but otherwise good bloke) came across this pin while going through his late father's stuff.

Apparently he had a complete set of NSWRL pins.

Rather than keeping the complete set, my father-in-law is giving out all the pins to all his family and friends who support other teams.

Not sure what I'm gonna do with it, but it's in great condition. I'm sure I'll find something to stick it in.

Very thoughtful of him. Love the old red P with the Panther jumping through it.

Think I'll have to seriously consider some new merch if we win 5 in a row. I haven't bought a single thing since our dynasty started except jerseys. And even then it was Dahdah home and away.

I don't have as much as I wish I did but I did work for panthers during the 04/05 seasons and have a few bits and pieces. Was cool being in person with ben Ross and presto week to week and chatting with Gower on the regular. This is why I f**king hate when the true fan thing comes out because I'm only 39.

Do you know the history of the ball?
I threw the photos into Google AI and this is what it said.

Based on the signatures, this appears to be a football signed by players from the Essendon Football Club, likely from the late 1940s to early 1950s.

While some are difficult to read perfectly, here are the most identifiable signatures visible in the photo:

  • Roy Holt (bottom, very clear)
  • Laurie Fogarty (middle)
  • Bob McClure (above Laurie Fogarty)
  • Mike Tierney (top right)
  • Dave Offe (top left)
  • Bill Hutchison (middle-top, very clear) - A club legend and Brownlow Medalist.
  • Dick Reynolds (middle) - Arguably Essendon's greatest-ever player, "King Richard.
  • Doug Harvey (top)
  • Dick Quinn (middle-right)
  • Ronnie Lopes (bottom-left)
  • Ronnie Moncrieff (bottom-right, looks like "Ronnie Monac...")
  • The signature below the seam is Bob Lambert. This is almost certainly Harold "Bob" Lambert, a legendary half-back flanker for Essendon.
  • He was a key member of the 1946, 1949, and 1950 premiership teams and was named in Essendon's Team of the Century. His presence on this ball, alongside Dick Reynolds and Bill Hutchison, absolutely confirms it's from that specific 1949-1950 premiership-winning squad.
  • John Coleman (top, unmistakable)
  • Jack Jones (bottom, very clear)
  • Johnny Raper (top)
  • Greg. R (likely Greg Raper, Johnny's brother who also played league)

I don't know how accurate the AI is but it seemed convinced that they were Essendon players apart from the Rapper brothers. Does that fit with what you were expecting?
