But don't we have a plethora of backrowers available? Pretty sure I've seen that said in reference to Cartys departure...

Not fit we don't. CHN, May injured. Blake not full training yet so Peachey maybe centre. Kikau been underwhelming in NRL.

So a few weeks in we will have plenty of choice for backrow. Until then we are scratching for depth all over

My point exactly... Carty was apparently surplus to what we need, but now we have a shortage..?

Nah, we don't want Cartwright anymore because he's shit in defense and he throws silly passes and he wouldn't have made the top 17 anyway. Just like Moylan is shit now because he threw a shit pass in a 30 point loss to the Rabbits. And Latu was lazy and unreliable and threw silly balls. And TMM was too small and couldn't kick. And Peachey is very close to being inconsistent and shit in defense and too small and not worth the money as well.

We apparently just have a tonne of shit players and we are trying to dump them all to hang on to Cleary. Everything is fine.

What about the Fish? He could still play on the edge.
I don't feel he is ready yet for a permanent move to the middle.

Scrolling back on this page. Most had him on the bench. Some others said he should go if not firing up. Talking top 17 maybe he was surplus after his last years form.

We have a 29 man squad now so would struggle regardless of who was let go. We will fill that spot somehow eventually

I'm not just talking about this thread though - Most people are saying we didn't need Bryce, because we have so many talented players in the same position, but now apparently we're struggling to fill a spot in the backrow... Just seems like conflicting points to be honest

CHN was great when he was given his opportunity in the NRL. Jed Cartwright, Corey Waddell and Jack Hetherington all capable to performing at the same level if and when they get the call up. Add these guys to the established back rowers and we have nothing to worry about.

Penrith Panthers site has Kikau listed as a prop, along with RCH, James tamou, a bloke called Nick lui Toso, Sam Mackendry, Tim Browne: They listed in the NRL side, now I know Latu will be replaced here that will make six props.
