Bellamy has been blessed with an elastic salary cap, not having to shed stars after being caught cheating, and some of the greatest players of the era as a result.

No, I wouldn't take Bellamy. He's been spoonfed a dream squad most of his career
Couldn't even beat Mal Meninga in Origin FFS!!! Though I guess Mal's Origin record proves he is one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Back to Stevie's topic

I agree with his side,

BTW, Is there a worse hooker than King? He has played over 36 games and never scored a try and is so obsessed with it that he attempts this ridiculous dummy half run whenever he is close to the line.

French is not the answer at fullback. Hayne is a shadow of the player he was and Evans should try his hand at basketball.

Would you try French at dummy half when we are in the opposition half?
Attacking only... not defending there.

Agree with Smith at FB, can’t hurt and he did well there in a couple of games last year.

Hayne can stay at centre, he’s trained there all off season and has defended pretty well.

I reckon Tepai is set for a spell with his shoulder/neck again..

Smith
French
Hayne
Jenko
Hoff

Norman
Moses

Alvaro
King (if available - if not Pritchard)
Terepo
Ma’u
Taka
Brown (c)

Pritchard (if starting for King then Salmon)
Edwards
Mannah
T-Rex

Then who would defend there? And what would that merkin do in attack? And more importantly, who would attack in the fullback role?
Pritchard would defend there and when in attack would play a running game like he did when he and Peats were on the field at the same time.

We have 2 centres that can both play a sweeping role and do what the FB does in attack when he joins the backline. Hell i reckon we crowd too many players in some of those movements anyway, resulting in the winger being jammed against the sideline or the centre or fullback stepping back inside regardless.

I thought Will Smith was especially good at fullback in the games where he was drawn and quartered on here for his awful positional play at fullback...

MOAR CHANGES!!

He was okay last week but he didn't defend real well yesterday.
Pritchard (if starting for King then Salmon)
I reckon Mahoney is next drop at hooker, that is if Smith is selected in a different position, as in the case with this hypothetical.

Was going to put Mahoney as agree he probably is next in line but as an ex-shark I thought Salmon May have some extra motivation

Don't get the French hate, don't think he has been bad at all. Been pretty save at the back and looked dangerous in a couple of runs yesterday - he had 3 tackle breaks (DCE / Tom only had 4 each). He hasnt actually made an error yet.

He is the least of our problems.
