Auva'a is a better defender than Takairangi.
Pritchard would defend there and when in attack would play a running game like he did when he and Peats were on the field at the same time.
We have 2 centres that can both play a sweeping role and do what the FB does in attack when he joins the backline. Hell i reckon we crowd too many players in some of those movements anyway, resulting in the winger being jammed against the sideline or the centre or fullback stepping back inside regardless.
Would you take Bellamy if we could prise him away from the Storm? All the good teams seem to get their new coaches whilst they are still "committed" to other clubs.
He was okay last week but he didn't defend real well yesterday.
I reckon Mahoney is next drop at hooker, that is if Smith is selected in a different position, as in the case with this hypothetical.
Don't get the French hate, don't think he has been bad at all. Been pretty save at the back and looked dangerous in a couple of runs yesterday - he had 3 tackle breaks (DCE / Tom only had 4 each). He hasnt actually made an error yet.
He is the least of our problems.
It's definitely time to bring in some of the merkins who got smashed by Blacktown Workers. Give them a rest in our first grade side I reckon.
How about Vae?
Back to Stevie's topic
I agree with his side,
BTW, Is there a worse hooker than King? He has played over 36 games and never scored a try and is so obsessed with it that he attempts this ridiculous dummy half run whenever he is close to the line.
French is not the answer at fullback. Hayne is a shadow of the player he was and Evans should try his hand at basketball.
You obviously don't consider getting dragged into touch an error then
Is Mahoney even in our Top 30?
You have to play to your strengths. If you have a bunch of workers who can 'play some footy' then that's how you play. It helps if they actually do some work though. Our game plan appears too complex as it is. I don't think making it more complex will help things.
Was that french's fault? It only happened once yesterday I think to him when he was on the wing for a set play/the sweeping edge movement. Was it his fault the ball was passed to him in a shit position?
I think it also happened to another eels player too, he also got put into touch.
Maybe maybe not, but I think we may have the 30th spot still free.
Or make W.Smith our fulltime hooker.
If he didn't submit he would've been pushed into touch even quicker. It happened because he received the ball with no space.it happened three times, twice to French and once to RVarR. RVarR should never have had the ball passed to him. Both times French was pushed into touch was due to his submission in the tackle.
Lol.
What is so funny? .
