The bits in bold...no no no no no no.
Gillett isn't a starter yet, when he can be consistent like Parker, Glenn ect then he can start. Why leave McGuire on the bench? That is just plain stupid, he was our best prop this year and should and will get a starting spot next year. Hoffman is not a winger at all, I can just see him getting owned every week, especially under the high ball. it's either fullback or reserves, it's that simple. Personally after his comments this year I would make him start the year in reserves and earn his spot back. Parker to front row? Why we have McGuire.
After some thought this would be my starting line up
- Hodges ( he wants to play there, fine, give him a chance, especially if it brings out the best in him and would mean Hoffman would have to play out of his skin to get back in the side, a win win )
- Maranta
- Reed
- Copely
- Yow Yeh
- Wallace
- Prince
- McGuire
- McCullough
- Hannant
- Thaiday
- Glenn
- Parker
- Hunt
- Hala
- J Wallace
- Gillett ( would be on notice, pull your finger out or join Norman and Hoffman in reserves )
