Your team for next week

I thought you's were diabolical and offered little to know attacking potency. Hayne looked completely disinterested and had one of his worst games in a fair while.

Your forward pack though talented is lacking experience (big time). Hindmarsh can't guide the other forwards around by himself, Ben Smith did do a good job for you guys cleaning up the rucks.

Souths played average also and didn't do a whole lot to stamp their authority on the game, It was just you guys were horrendous.

Robson & Mortimer just don't cut it as a NRL standard halves combo.

Tim Mannah was really good last week starting yesterday but decided to go with experience and start with Webb.

I'll have a go at what I think your team should run with for next week.

1. Tom Humble
2. Chris Walker
3. Paul Whatuira
4. Joel Reddy
5. Chris Hicks
6. Jarryd Hayne
7. Jeff Robson
8. Shane Shackleton
9. Matthew Keating
10. Carl Webb
11. Nathan Hindmarsh
12. Taniela Lasalo
13. Ben Smith

14. Casey McGuire
15. Fui Fui Moi Moi
16. Justin Horo
17. Tim Mannah

Basically tried to provide a bench with maximum impact, Webb only to play the first 20 then Mannah to come on and play out the game at prop. Moi Moi to come on after 20 and then play throughout the game in stints.

Hayne needs to be closer to the action, Both Robson and Mortimer weren't great last night but I think the team needs the experience over youth potential so I went with Robson.
Stay of the Drugs Dude they are impairing your judgement.LOL:lol:

This isn't the team I would pick; it's the team I reckon the coach will pick:

1. Hayne
2. Burt
3. Reddy
4. Walker (Whatuira if injured)
5. Uaisele
6. Mortimer
7. Robson
8. Mannah
9. Keating
10. Shackleton
11. Hindmarsh
12. Lasalo
13. Smith (after last week he'll be keen for a big one)

14. Mitchell
15. Horo
16. Allgood
17. Moimoi (Webb if Fui's suspended or Allgood is injured)

1. Hayne
2. Burt
3. Loko
4. Reddy
5. Hicks/Walker
6. Morts
7. Robbo/Murray
8. Webb
9. Keating, assuming maguire injured.
10. Hindmarsh. Lets face it, offers nothing in attack (no offence hindy) and if other backrowers have adapted, im sure he can.
11. Smith
12. Lasalo
13. Horo.

14. Mitchell
15. Fui to come on as a wide running backrower and able to off load.
16. Shackleton.
17. Mannah.

If robbo is @ 7, Hayne to play major role as play maker. If murray @ 7, Hayne to take backward step, and see how he copes.

With Hindy prop, he wont need to be interchanged.

Will have strong running back rowers, with smith horo lasalo and fui.

Surely this team makes a bit of sense.

Bruest? I dont even think he has been goig that good at toyota cup level.

Our options liewithin.Reddy and Brien into centres would push walker onto the wing with burt.
Id still shift mcguire to half back when he is back-I hear only out for a week-Just a strain not a tear.
Robson would move to 9 or MK with mitchel on bench..Come rnd 10 guys like Reni-Humble will be considered.Reni can be a centre option if our forwards are going well.
Lets just hope filiga and Loko step up and put some pressure on our backs and then Haynes move to 5/8 becomes more likely....

Hayne has to step up cause i dont thing he will get the fullback spot for origin one.I will throw a smokie there and say Minichello. With pierce and carney Haynes cut out balls and kicking game wont be needed.

Can someone answer a few questions for me please
1. How long until Poore & humble are available?
2. How is Brad Murray goin for wenty?
3. Is cameron Bruest ready for first grade?
4. When Reni Maitua is made Available would you play him Centre, backrow or Five-Eight?

from what I know, and some one maybe able to give more info

1. Poore is a few months away, Humble should be ready soon, hopefully the next few weeks.
2. Murray cant even get a game for Wenty, he's playing Bundy Cup.
3. Bruest has just been average, still settling in.
4. Maitua is going to miss the first month or so.

I would firstly, work all week on combinations and getting the outside players to run onto the ball and hit the holes, then work on the forwards running in pairs and looking for passes and the halves to look to shift the ball a little more.

I would pick:

1. Hayne
2. Burt
3. Walker
4. Reddy
5. Hicks
6. Mortimer
7. Robson
8. Mannah
9. McGuire
10. Moi Moi
11. Hindmarsh
12. Smith
13. Horo

14. Keating
15. Lasalo
16. Shackleton
17. Allgood

18. Rogers

Seriously, we don't have any other viable options in the halves.

What r our options? Murray from bundy cup, humble who hasn't been mentioned or breust? I guess Murray needs to step up the 7 jersey is clearly there to take from robbo and even morts needs to look over his dhoulder

If we want that extra spark in attack and we dont have any halves todo that than haynes the only solution ? thats why haynes being mentioned in the halves, he has a better kicking and better passing game than our halves. I want him fullback but with our current halves what can we do ?

Move McGuire there? Hayne isn't an organiser and the pressure takes a lot away from his attack. Casey is a genuine utility, who has played a heck of a lot of 6 and 7 very well. If anyone is moved into the halves at this stage it should be McGuire.

1.hayne
2.burt
3.reddy (need his defence)
4.filiga (morgans defence is ordinary, filiga is a good defender and a better attacking player)
5.atkins (a good finisher and good under the high ball)
6.mortimer
7.robson
8.mannah
9.mitchell (because mcguire is out)
10.moimoi (need him to start and get us on the front foot)
11.hindy
12.lasalo
13.shackleton (he can start there then play anywhere in the forwards)

14.keating (if mcguire was fit, mitchell bench mcguire start)
15.horo
16.webb (need some agression even if he only lasts 15minutes, better then nothing)
17.manakafoua (a beast who will add size and agression to the team)

Yeah good call about McGuire but we dont know how long he's injured for and if he's out for say 4 weeks do we keep playing our current halves untill he returns ?

we may fix one solution moving McGuire to the halves but where going to struggle in the hooking position because keating offers nothing.
