Out if that team; it's pretty localised which is always positive. Friz for sure as other second rower. Good team; who do you leave out of the forwards. Would like aitken for sure. What about the under 20s five eight on the bench??? Come on dragons.

Please remember that if the Dragons sign Packer he'll most likely be missing for at least half a season. The NRL need to approve the Dragons contract & then decide when Packer will be available to play by registering him as a player. Then add the time needed for him to regain match fitness.

some will speculate without "necking" themselves, and theres no harm in that.
Others will cry about "rumours" from now, and with a bit of luck do as the Duges says and NECK THEMSELVES!!!
Im more interested in seeing what happens with Harrison, Green, Stanley etc etc... fingers crossed they are not resigned.

I agree about Harrison, Green, Stanley Hunt.....this is what frightens me the most if they keep these players then really not much will change other than signing Parker maybe Rose loosing Morris Stockwell ect.......Just hope it all works out and we can see a big improvement fairly quick and not another 3 years of not playing finals footy.....

That Aitken/Runciman centre combination rings alarm bells for me. Who does their tackling for them?

I would not cound Morris out just yet for next year at least. Plus George Rose looks like coming as well.

I would not be listing the lineup yet. Plenty of time to go before then and if they can get rid of Hunt, Beale and Farrell then there will be some more coming in for sure.

Beale is now linked with the Titans.

I have given up on trying to second guess whats happening behind the scenes.

Feel the club is in damage control, but apart from the definite departure of Stockwell to the Knights, nothing else is concrete.

We are now closer to November ( not sure when training starts), but couldnt be too far away, and we are none the wiser.

Im sure like us fans, the players must be in limbo caught between player managers, club officials and family priorities.

Time will have to come when the club faces the media, rather than sending out feel good stories about re-building, and team-we-want garbage, and either dismiss or validate some or all of these rumours.

The silence is deafening.

euan aitkin, draino, is a demon defender . don't know where you get the idea that he wouldn't be able to tackle......in saying that , i definately do not think he is ready yet for first grade. he like a lot of our younger players need that step up to the cutters first . no need to put them down about their ability to tackle.
