How funny...Jobby was being serious and when he realised that absolutely no one agreed with him - not even the usual Dureau stooges - he turned it in to trolling.

You sure are a tricky one Jobby!

In other news...isn't it nice that even the usual suspects agree now that Rogers - no matter how bad he is - is still better than Dureau.

In all seriousness, Rogers defence has been unbelievable. For as frustrating as he can be for us all, I have to give credit to the bloke - his defensive commitment of late has been superb.

Based on that alone, makes his form above average overall.

His defence has been outstanding but his running game, more specifically his ability to poke through the defencive line, is what has impressed me the most of late. We have no other options for 5/8 this year but Id love to see him move to the back row next season.

That's a fair call based on his recent defence as well but then you have to look at dropping either Houston, Taia or Hilder. I think Hilder tightens up the middle a helluva lot with DeGois so it'd be a bit of a gamble.

I think there is a case to make for running Dodge off the bench as an impact player. Id not move House, Zeb or Waltzing out of the starting line up but with the inevitability (seemingly) retirement of Simmo I think House will be moved into the prop rotation.

A team next year of the below would be tops imo

1. Gids
2. Jimmy Mac
3. Sau
4. Doogs/Mata'utai
5. Vuna
6. ???
7. Mullen
8. Tafua
9. De Gois
10. Houston
11. Paterson
12. Taia
13. Hilder

14. Rogers
15. Cross
16. Fa'aoso
17. Wicks/Mika

He would be a pretty reasonable bench option on the basis that you could slot him in to the forwards or the halves if need be. Could be that super-sub that we've been looking for in Karawana/Naiqama....
