Stig is due back next week, but he hasn't played at all.
Roberts is due back the next week from a broken eye socket. Lot's of people come back early from a broken eye socket because you would be bloody unlucky to get another knock on the same spot.
He has played in the trials and played well.

I would be more inclined to keep boyd at fullback and bring in a specialist half like smith, roberts or stig. Boyd can slot in at 5/8 whenever he wants and going by todays try saving efforts at fullback he is irreplacable at the back. Roberts is no slouch and is a gun player, would probably bring more to the halves than gidley anyway, stig can have his moments but will still bring more to the table than someone like Hilder in the halves.. I dont think wayne will change the team too much.

Id personally leave Boyd at the back, bring Hilder on to 5/8 and bring up Filipo from NSW cup to the bench.

I dont like the idea of an underdone half coming into the side to play the Broncos

A few people not up to date on the injury front it seems. Mata'utia, Stig, and Roberts haven't even played a game this year and in Stig and Pete's cases not even a trial.

Don't think there will be any changes other then Tahu in for Sau and the ones forced by injury. Also I'd like to give Will Smith a run at 5/8 but Thaiday may make is debut a nightmare.

How long is Nev out for? Bad idea to move Boyd. We do that when we have no halves left. He is the second best fullback in the game. He will be the one who shuts down any line breaks. Look what he did to the would be Cronulla try when he intercepted the ball. That play was a huge play given the pressure Cronulla were applying. He has done that several times before and turned matches. A St George Bulldogs game at the SCG comes to mind and he closed out a game against us last year I think with the exact same play. He needs to stay where he is. His instinctive play is his strength.

Stig comes back great from a lay off.
He was on fire from game one of NSW cup last year and got 4 MOTM awards from 5 games, and when he had a month off mid season he came back with a MOTM game in NSW cup and three quality games of firstgrade including at least 1 MOTM.

An injury free Stig would deliver.

1. the comp im in is a bit like nrlceo, where u have exclusive players (so only 1 team can have corey parker). all the gun backs are taken, so the only ppl i can trade him for is like... moses pangai or someone of that calibre

2. knowing our luck with injuries, it's only a matter of weeks before we see our beloved junior in the starting lineup again :O(
