Best current test, ODI and T/20 bowlers.

For mine:

TEST : Doug the Rug

ODI : Brax

T/20 : The Wild Thing

Test: Hard to split Doug and Mitch. I will go Mitch for now but Doug for this summer alone.

ODI: I guess with Bracken and Lee out it is surprisingly Ryan Harris

T20: Tait and Nannes have really found their niche.

Brax isn't out anymore, bowled brilliantly against the Bulls the other night.

He'll be back pretty soon I reckon

Test- Watson (surprisingly but he has been our best quick in recent time)

ODI's- No idea, probably McKay on the basis of more extended form than Harris.

T20- Tait

I'd say these are the best attacks we can muster...

TEST

Bollinger
Hilfenhaus
Johnson
Hauritz

ODI

Bracken
Johnson
Bollinger or Harris (Until Lee is fit)
Hauritz

T20

Tait
Bracken
Johnson
Whatever spinner, probably Smith

Watson has not been our best quick. He's been a good change bowler and handy to have there but he isnt anything more than that (and his body wouldnt let him be). Bollinger was our best in the home summer, although I have high hope for Hilfenhaus when he is back and fit.

Dont really watch enough ODI's or twenty20 to know who our best are, think Bracken is over rated a tad and was being found out in that last year or so before his injury lay off (although perhaps this was due to his injury effecting him).

Tait has one good game and he is suddenly our best T20 bowler. Ill take McDonald, Nannes, Rimmo or Harris over him any day

Bracken, Lee and Clark will find it very difficult to be selected again at this rate. I believe the Australian selectors are moving away from them.

Bracken will be used again - still bowling well enough to be considered and he will be before this series is completed IMO. Clark could possibly come into contention again but Lee won't be in the top side again.

Test is hard to say since Bollinger has only just got into the team, Johnson is still up and down.
ODI Lee would be the best but we don't know how he will return after his latest injury so Bollinger.
T20I who knows since we keep rotating the bowlers.

I'd say the opposite, I think Lee will make the ODI team again but i suspect Clark will not get picked again even if he dominated the shield post injury

I'm of the opinion Lee will retire in the none too distant future.....

Lee has said that he will fight on, he's not ready to retire

Doesn't necessarily mean he will get another game tho

Lee should retire from Test Cricket and plan the WC as his overall retirement. I think he has a lot to offer in ODIs for us and in getting us our 4th straight WC.
