Josh Holmes is way too cumbersome to be a decent halfback.

For years we've had to put up with Gregans sh*te slow service...can we please have a number 9 who can throw a long pass without taking a couple of steps?

I'd hardly call having the services of the best halfback of all time as "putting up" with him. Some people clearly have no idea.

Burgess will be the starting 9...Giteau WILL be the 10, Cross will be the 13, with Mortlock as much as I don't want him at 12. Adam Asley Cooper..too slow, have we not learnt from the World Cup disaster when Mitchell was on the bench. We need QUICK wingers and to be honest have a look at the Crusaders who dean's coaches and he has quick wingers- Ashley Cooper aint quick and his handling skills are not too flash!

Gregan should have retired ages ago.

His service was slow and cumbersome and he put his 5/8 under a lot of pressure.

The "pick up and ball...step sideways...think about where you are going to pass it and then lob it to your 5/8" technique is usually frowned upon.

Gregan's leadership on the field certainly helped make up for his shoddy service...but a great passer of the ball he was not.

And as a halfback with 10 years experience....yes I have some idea.
