So Chammas confirmed on channel 9 tonight that Lomax has been granted permission to negotiate with other clubs for 2025.
Great post mate! Also, I love how you brought up Hindy's conversionZac had a great game again. Well, except that conversion that went backwards. Even Hindy's conversion in that TV Ad looks far better. Anyway, this year is the best I have seen Zac play. He seems to be everywhere in our backline. Coming to the Middle, taking the ball up. At one point he even passed the ball to Rawa, the other winger. The same way that Turbo plays for Manly. I think Flanno has given him permission to move around in attack and be everywhere. So in attack, he is listed as a winger but he seems to play multiple roles. It is only in defense that he is a winger and has to cover his position. The way he is playing, I am sure he will be in State of Origin calculations.
So I am not sure why Media is pushing that line that Zac is not happy. There was an article in zerotackle "Cut the Cord..." by Dan Nichols. I am not sure how that Journo made those deductions. Hope he does not get paid for it as it was load of rubbish. He even tells Ben to find a new club. Vow! Ben is also playing some of his best footy this year for the club and he came with 3 try assists yesterday and he is leading the "Try assist" category so far.
Even is this is true, permission to negotiate and ultimately being released from his contract are two different things. I think there's a few twists and turns left in this story. So Chammas confirmed on channel 9 tonight that Lomax has been granted permission to negotiate with other clubs for 2025.
He may change his mind if his salary falls…. Or they want him as a winger…Even is this is true, permission to negotiate and ultimately being released from his contract are two different things. I think there's a few twists and turns left in this story.
Yep we ain’t contributing towards his big salary with us, so another club gonna have to pay the top centre in the game money for himEven is this is true, permission to negotiate and ultimately being released from his contract are two different things. Wow he is now our highest paid player we must give him a pay rise every month.GOOD LUCK ZAC, IN MY OPINION YOU WOULD HAVE BECOME CLUB CAPTAIN IF YOU STAYEDView attachment 86027

The new-look trio of Michael Carayannis, Brent Read and David Riccio discuss all things Wests Tigers with Readman saying Leichhardt is a potential death trap. They look at the latest regarding Zac Lomax, Cronulla's injury crisis, the Broncos cap, plus answer your questions.
Zac Lomax has been given permission to leave St George-Illawarra.
The Dragons have confirmed that their highest-paid player can negotiate with rival clubs, allowing him to exit at the end of this season.
Lomax still has two years remaining on his contract, which under NRL rules doesn’t allow him to negotiate with rival clubs until November 1.
However, the Dragons have opted to give permission to the disgruntled outside back to begin speaking with rival clubs with immediate effect and in order to give him time to find a club for the 2025 season.
In return, the Dragons will also use the remainder of the season to find a big-money replacement.
The Eels have made no secret of their interest in securing the $800,000 local junior.
ok perhaps notHe's playing great football. Not that I have any inside goss or anything but I feel he may well have a change of heart if the team wins games
It means nothing, how many other top tier players are allowed to negotiate with other clubs, they basically all end up staying, Luai being the exception to that rule. The point being what club is going to stump up $800k and who are they willing to offer in return. Flanno will make sure the club doesn't get ripped off.So Chammas confirmed on channel 9 tonight that Lomax has been granted permission to negotiate with other clubs for 2025.
Yep…problem is…you may have all the $$$ in the world to spend…but if there isn’t anyone decent to sign, or no one wants to come to your club, wouldn’t it be better to give it to Lomax who is a great player already? I honestly don’t get this club.Oh well that an extra $800,000 to spend next year.
