He seems to be everywhere in our backline. Coming to the Middle, taking the ball up. At one point he even passed the ball to Rawa, the other winger. The same way that Turbo plays for Manly. I think Flanno has given him permission to move around in attack and be everywhere. So in attack, he is listed as a winger but he seems to play multiple roles. It is only in defense that he is a winger and has to cover his position. The way he is playing, I am sure he will be in State of Origin calculations.

So I am not sure why Media is pushing that line that Zac is not happy. There was an article in zerotackle "Cut the Cord..." by Dan Nichols. I am not sure how that Journo made those deductions. Hope he does not get paid for it as it was load of rubbish. He even tells Ben to find a new club. Vow! Ben is also playing some of his best footy this year for the club and he came with 3 try assists yesterday and he is leading the "Try assist" category so far.

Yep we ain’t contributing towards his big salary with us, so another club gonna have to pay the top centre in the game money for him

The Dragons have confirmed that their highest-paid player can negotiate with rival clubs, allowing him to exit at the end of this season.
Lomax still has two years remaining on his contract, which under NRL rules doesn’t allow him to negotiate with rival clubs until November 1.
However, the Dragons have opted to give permission to the disgruntled outside back to begin speaking with rival clubs with immediate effect and in order to give him time to find a club for the 2025 season.
In return, the Dragons will also use the remainder of the season to find a big-money replacement.
The Eels have made no secret of their interest in securing the $800,000 local junior.

Disappointed but I'm used to that as a Dragons supporter. So all we need now is to get past the hundreds of same media reports by anyone who has even looked at a football disguised as a media celebrity and expert. Can't wait!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

It means nothing, how many other top tier players are allowed to negotiate with other clubs, they basically all end up staying, Luai being the exception to that rule. The point being what club is going to stump up $800k and who are they willing to offer in return. Flanno will make sure the club doesn't get ripped off.

Not sure exactly how to feel about this, and I guess it may change if we use that money to land someone elite... but, at the moment I'm honestly saddened by the news. Ostensibly a local junior, with loads of talent and was starting to show real leadership qualities since about mid last year when Griffin was sacked (which continued with his powerful form on the wing this year). It's a shame imo. Oh well..
