I have no idea what it is with these soft, indulgent, self-entitled pricks.
when you retire, you've got nothing to go to except maybe work in a warehouse as a labourer on a building site, and find out what hard work is all about; 25 bucks an hour if you're lucky!

I like your sentiment Sage63 about the players being entitled and narcissistic maybe at times but these guys aren't soft and work really hard to keep in top physical condition. They train most days I believe to a very high standard.
Having worked in the building industry I can tell you not many labourers could come close to the condition an NRL 1st grader is in apart from maybe scaffolders (those guys are fit as fk, they also earn substantially more than $25p/h).
I think Clubs now also get their guys into some field of Academic study or at least offer scholarships (correct me if I'm wrong).
It's their mental attitude that needs some work.

Who cares what he says or thinks privately, his performances have been great & he looks to be putting in at training. There's about 10+ other blokes who everyone should be pissed off at their performance. The top of the list is Jayd'n Su'a who had 7 missed tackles & shit all run meters, you can add Ben Hunt, Sloan, our forwards etc. who have been poor for numerous years.

Where's the effort from these blokes? Where's the desperation from them? Where's the shit i'm not comfortable catching the high ball but i'll give it my best shot & not be scared about the consequences.

Lomax has been the least of our concerns for a long time but he's made to be the bad guy. One of the few that shows up with performances & is happy to be the face of the club in marketing & fan interactions.

I can't say the same about 90% of the players we have currently or have had in the last few seasons.

Remember sloan wanted out after about 2 years, Bird when asked to play in the backrow last year proceeded to become a fat heap of shit to the point he couldn't even play to a park footy standard. The only reason he's put in effort this year is he's got his shot at centre. Ben hunt when we needed him to play hooker, he thought of his body & the strain on him rather than the benefit of the team.

For all of Su'a & Molo performances they keep getting suspended, injured or show up to pre-season over weight.

If majority of the squad had Lomax competitiveness in his performances & attitude to training then we would never be challenging for the wooden spoon on a continuous basis.

Looks like most of our fans want Lomax gone, one of the few who have cared about the dragons. We look like fools accepting mediocrity but then shitting on someone who shows some heart in the jersey through his performances & actions.

For anyone bringing up he's the 24th best centre blah blah blah, show me the stats or keep believing whatever crapy Kenty dishes our without any basis.

Supporters need a massive wake up call.
i agree mate i believe lomax is the only player who gives 110% like i said before he does make errors but they all do and i also think he should be our next captain another 12 like lomax we never lose

After Hunt's own experience, he should know better.
Just when I was staring to forgive, he has caused another shitstorm that will only destabilise the team & club dynamics.

The way I see it, Zac Is giving it all on the field. (Which is all us fans can ask).

Hunt should have articulated the above and the above only.
Nothing left for Journos to 'interpret'.

A lot of talk about Sloans poor defence but conveniently overlook his tackle on papalii which saved a try or his effort to hold up the player in goal (even if the bunker found a way to give a try).

People said they wanted to see improvement and more commitment and physicality. Took bombs, was in position to clean up the kicks safely, ran harder with his carries, was trying to support more and did make some good tackles. Well he did that, he's not there yet but if he improves at the rate hes going he will be a very good player.
I know I'm late but this is also what will separate him from Dufty. While Dufty's natural ball playing ability to set up tries at will was incredible, we never saw much improvement from him defensively or in effort areas. He only really played well when his contract was on the line, and given his supposed lack of harmony with the playing group, I for one am happy we are persisting with Tyrell at the back

If any body doesn't want to be there let them go, they don't deserve to be a part of our club.
I definitely felt this way about Hunt. Bloke had everything go his way in terms of the club giving him what he wanted. It was also his choice to re-sign, so that's on him as well.

However, with Lomax I genuinely feel bad. So much potential and being starved of any real good ball. Also, imagine being Zac, in the prime of your career and hoping to play in your preferred position of centre once the coach has basically given you the license to run as much as you want during the game, only to be replaced by Jack f**king Bird. I'd be pretty pissed too

He's getting paid a lot of money to be pissed...more in 1 season than I will see in many, many years

Hoops is the biggest tool of all time, go back to Leichhardt Oval, Cheer on like a tiger supporter on the hill, leave the big issues to the big boys, omg if was playing for any club being paid top dollar, I would be grateful to be playing in any position.
Unfortunately for my size I would be playing Prop, I wish I was winger scoring multiple tries.

Are there any grumbling noises coming from the Raiders camp?

Ricky has usually played Rapana on the wing for sometime and Savage at fullback. Ricky has reversed that for the start of this year with Rapana at fullback and Savage on the wing. I haven't heard any complaints.

For that to happen, we'll need something in return from the chooks. What will that be.
Is this just a hunch or inside info
