Well and truly. I'm surprised that Zac didn't jump himself to catch the ball. He just thought that he would just let Warbrick catch it then he could tackle him. Warbrick had other ideas. He knew Lomax was thereabouts and Lomax was the only Aussie near him, so catch it and run around Lomax and try time. Lomax grabbed at thin air to try and tackle him but couldn't.
Ryles might get him doing lots of sprint training in the off season. That's all it takes.
Doubt it. You don’t think sprint training hasn’t been on the agenda in the past ? The kid was considered a future star in his youth but unfortunately for him his pace didn’t progress like the rest of his game. He last beat someone on the outside in 2018 !
His top end speed is ok he just doesn’t have any zip or acceleration in the 1st instant he gets the ball.

I agree , Acceleration over 10-15 metres far more important than being able to run 100 metres under 11 seconds.
Zac doesn’t fit the old adage of a player that “burst onto the ball”.
Agree, Soward was not all that quick over a full 100 however nobody could match his acceleration
