Honestly that's insulting if they think those 2 were the same value for Zac Lomax
and it wasn’t even both players it was 1 or the other…lol

If Storm and the NRL didn't want Lomax lost to the game then why was there a settlement as I am sure Parra would have been happy to front up to court and have the judge decide. After all, wasn't the Storm bleating about restraint of trade, so see it through.
Read represents the worst of rugby league journalism. Will do or say anything to protect his mates at the Storm, even when it is so obviously stupid. An agenda driven Storm knob gobbler who has zero credibility. I swear they only put him on NRL360 to laugh at his stupid opinions.I may be living under a rock, but who is Brett Read anyway?
I presume he's a rugby league "journo" or podcaster of some sort... but I don't think the world turns on what one angry ant thinks.
Go suck it Brett Read - Lomax, his manager, Storm and maybe PVL and the NRL learned something today. Contracts are contracts, and agreed conditions of release stand.

Me either.I also don't believe that Bart doesn't know who Brent Read is.
He's an absolute thickshit. Doesn't even understand what's been going on.![]()
Parker: Zac Lomax is not a criminal, he should be playing
Corey Parker has slammed the Eels for what they have done to Zac Lomax.www.sen.com.au
Poor Corey should check when anyone actually called Zac a criminal.
Its going to court Thursday night, Storm is going to get supersubpoenad. As much as I am happy with the outcome of this whole thing, I still wish it actually went to court.

Lomax meets Schmidt about rugby switch as Storm’s player trade offer revealed
Zac Lomax remains in limbo after coming to an out-of-court settlement with Parramatta, but could he play at the Rugby World Cup?www.theage.com.au
Melbourne were trying to trade Josiah Pahulu or Lazarus Vaalepu for Lomax
If PVL really wanted him to stay in the game and wasn't just trying to help the Storm, he would have come in and figured out a way for him to stay in the game...
Give him a job in the NRL headquarters
Also, for Ready to say that about PVL is fairly damning. He's basically admitting that PVL is a thin-skinned agenda driven, spiteful Merkin who is more interested in holding grudges than managing the NRL.I seem to remember pvl getting on a plane to meet Haas and convince him to stay in the game. If Lomax was so important.... Why didn't pvl race to him????
That's why I gotta laugh when Reed claims we don't wanna get in the pvl bad books, when has the NRL done anything to benefit us?
He should sign up here, he'd fit in just fine. ReadyEel360.Also, for Ready to say that about PVL is fairly damning. He's basically admitting that PVL is a thin-skinned agenda driven, spiteful Merkin who is more interested in holding grudges than managing the NRL.

Agree and I don't think Ready's analysis is right. PVL will move on fairly quickly from this.I'm reluctant to pour on PVL as I think he has been the best administrator our game has ever seen.
The NRL and the game has never been stronger.
However, I think he got this one totally wrong.
Exactly. He is similar to Trump in that he doesn't hold grudges.Agree and I don't think Ready's analysis is right. PVL will move on fairly quickly from this.
