Noyce was chief exec of Western Suburbs when they folded and Flanno was playing for Wests that year. Sorry just reading the Wests book. Flanno bailed out with a heap of others as Wests went broke. Think he went to Saints. So they both have added the blue to the black and white.

If nothing untoward happened at Manly, and Danks was a rule following law abiding citizen, what happened in the short time he was at Cronulla to convince him to break the cardinal rules of supplement use? If Flanno was involved how could he convince the good doctor to break the rules and sully his good name and reputation? How could he even suggest it knowing Danks spotless reputation at Manly?

Deflection, a smoke screen. Just publicise calves blood injections. Everyone thinks it's crazy, crazy and probably useless, not illegal. Nothing to see here but a team wasting their money.

Seriously, who would inject themselves with blood from another animal?

If they were willing to try that concoction from Dank, they would've considered trying other stuff.

Ok.
There was a governance problem at the Sharks, with shortage of staff, due to working on the smell of an oil rag: established.

Then Danks arrived on the scene despite warnings from the Manly doc as to his "reliability".He wasn't squirted off immediately": established.

We do know the code had no Integrity Unit in place ATT,and only put in place under Smith.Who was the CEO of the NRL ATT,Gallop: established.
Does that also mean lack of code administration governance then?
At present the NRL under Smith is getting the boards and staff situations up to speed at the Knights and Wests Tigers, where was Gallop in 2011 or one of his understaff?

Someone out there not a player but someone higher up,has to take a fall to retain any sort of credibility in the code.Fill in the blank spaces in your minds only who that should be.......
I know who should be doing the honourable thing.

Millers, I don't for a minute blame anyone but the Cronulla club for letting this happen. I just can't see how it ONLY happened here.

Maybe it didn't
We were the only ones busted in a cover up were players made explicit claims of horse drugs to the club doctor
On the other hand manly blew the whistle on themselves to the nrl after the calves blood shenanigans started

Apparently trying to cover it up equates to " saving the club" according to some here

We can see by Manlys actions blowing the whistle as soon as a problem emerge can save a lot of expense in the long run

I thought the calf's blood incident was in 08, dank stayed until 2010.

Also manly doc only advised cronulla doc of concern a few weeks after dank started at cronulla.

It would appear the NRL has been quite lax in respect to dank.

mea culpa

The former chief executive of ASADA, Richard Ings, confirmed that the body had investigated the Sea Eagles as far back as 2008 - following revelations that the club was using Actovegin, a calf-blood extract, on its players.
''The techniques that were being used were examined at the time and they were found not to be banned under the World Anti-Doping Agency code,'' Ings said.

they jacked him after dodgy injections
While it has been suggested before that Dank was let go by the Sea Eagles for financial reasons, the termination was said to have occurred due to a disagreement over his methods. After Dank had approached Perry about having an injection, the player complained to strength and conditioning coach Don Singe, who informed club doctor Paul Bloomfield and subsequently the now former Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler. It was then decided to end Dank's six-year employment at the Sea Eagles.
