In lieu of resources you can always kick the can down the road. Besides freeing up space by replacing Mahoney and Papali'i with cheaper players, we gave Dylan Brown eight years' worth of player options, and we gave Moses a contract until he's as old as Josh Hodgson. More resources would mean we don't need to take these risks.
