Why did they have to choose Bulldogs for a dead rubber? :sleeper:

NSW selectors have called Bulldogs centre Josh Morris into the Origin team after Jamie Lyon was ruled out today at the team medical. Lyon was hurt in Monday night's blockbuster against the Bulldogs and has almost certainly played his last game in a Blues jersey.
Many would agree the team is actually stronger with the inf-rom Morris coming into the side after his outstanding performances for the Bulldogs this year.

Jamie Lyon has been in great form this year too. The news just gets better and better.

If Inglis gets named in the centres this means Morris will be marking up on him. I don't like that at all.

So David Williams doesn't even have the Lyon combination going for him now? Should have been Matt Cooper/Josh Morris + Brett Morris.

You mean when he was lined up against Idris and out of form? Alot's changed since then.

Jonathan Thurston had been in fairly poor form up until origin and from there he hasn't looked back since.

Last year Thurston was having a below standard year but still f**ked us royally in origin.

There was massive question marks over Inglis coming into the first Origin. He'd been average at best earlier in the year. People were questioning his fitness and weight every other week. Since then he's been on fire.

Idiris seemed to run into an invisible wall about 3 feet from Inglis every-time he went to tackle him. Coincidently that is about how long GI' right arm is.
