As long
Future test crickter (within 5 years) Campbell Kellaway 105*, 34*

As long as we keep on producing top shelf Test quality cricketers our sport will remain strong in this part of the world.
As it is at the Gabba a no brainer to unleash Morris on this moderate Saffa batting group. Unlike Adelaide Oval Starc has a mediocre record at the Gabba so rest him. Neser on his home ground for Haze.

Saffas planning on giving Marnus a mouthful to put him off his game.. in Afrikaans. Doubt that will work but a concerted short barrage may. If Marn has a weakness it is against a well directed shortie.

This series will be won by the stronger bowling group. Both are world class, so who will come out on top.
Lets take a look at the averages of both groups.
Saffas:
K Rabada - 55/257 @22.4
L Ngidi - 15/49/ @21.6
A Nortje - 15/57 @ 27.5
M Jansen - 7/37 @18.5 / 22/105 @20.8 (FC)

BGs:
PJ Cumins - 44/202 @ 21.5
JR Hazlewood - 58/217 @26.1
MA Starc - 73/296 @ 27.5
C Green - 16/18 @ 35.4
M Neser - 88/312 @22.6 (FC)
SM Boland - 90/321 @24.6 (FC)

All I can say is thanks to Vernon Philander for retiring. He hurt us badly last time the Saffas toured.

Just reported on Foxsports (in the 2nd Windies test) Josh Hazlewood is out of this test
May not play until Boxing Day. And even that is not a cert. Talk about de jevu. Same injury that destroyed his summer last year and in the corresponding series too.

Saffas may ruffle some on Gabba deck, specially Labuchagnes. I dont know much about the pace of Coetzee. Perhaps he is their quickest.
Was a no brainer to pick Morris here. He may not even get a game in this series now. CA incompetence.

actually - think it will be whatever batting team doesn't shit the bed considering bowling strength is relatively even.
getting 350+ first innings scores should be enough to win here

gee the media are talking up the saffas bowling attack, mostly Newscorpse but I guess they want everyone subscribing to Foxtell or Kayo as the Windies were pretty disappointing.

Warner
Khawaja
Labuschagne
Smith
Head
Green
Carey
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Boland

Pretty easy side to pick.

Australia should win this one on batting and you'd imagine that with these two bowling sides, we'll see results.
