Isn't it weird that players don't kick for the sidelines anymore for field position. They seem intent on bombing it from midfield and tackling away. Had the bulldogs played for position their defense could set and pin down the cowboys

And for a similar reason why, usually in a futile exercise,do players count on getting tackled in the goal line area?

They have to restart on the 10 yd line...take a tackle up...wasted tackle, wasted yardage...or metreage.

A very fortunate draw during Origin season
We played the Storm in Round 6 you dolt.

We were crap tonight but we have the chance to redeem ourselves in five weeks time at Belmore.

I wouldn't be counting us out just yet.

Well that was unexpected, happy to see though as it seems like we're capable of going up another gear.
Have a feeling the Dogs will improve between now and our next game.

well that was enjoyable. JT is a worry although he went off unassisted and didn't look like he was in too much discomfort on the bench the rest he was most likely going to get post origin might come a bit earlier than planned. Hoping for good news soon

The dogs could not have played any worse
Reynolds and that Pom need a good slapping.
Talk about carry on like f**king sooks when the game is lost

Klemmer too.

I pity who ever plays them next though
Des will not be happy

Cows were great
The Thurston got hurt
They were almost as shit as the dogs for a while
Then they got it together

They can't win a GF without Thurston though

The Cowboys could be the first team to win back to back GF's in the NRL. Sorry Brisbane.
The Cows have the same problem as the Broncos. They are going to have to win in either Melbourne or Sydney against sides better than them (as evidenced by the table) if they are to even make the GF.

Dogs had a big pack & bench, but that amounts to nothing when they came across a complete RL team in the Cows.Nth Qld have drawn a line.

we'll never win a premiership with mbye & reynolds in the halves

I agree with this. Who is their go-to playmaker? The Dogs are winning games by basically bashing teams with size. They came up against a team that could match them up front and needed astute kicking and direction which Reynolds and Mbye don't seem to offer.
