HERE is the proof NSW was robbed at ANZ Stadium last night.

Ten refereeing decisions that clearly favoured the Maroons and stunned 82,000 fans at the game and millions of television viewers.

All night the Maroons got the 50-50 calls.

BLOG WITH BUZZ FROM 1PM. COMMENT BELOW TO ASK QUESTIONS

It was one of the worst State of Origin refereeing performances for years and here’s how it unfolded:

8 minutes — James Maloney penalised for pushing over Billy Slater (even Paul Vautin bagged the decision).

8.5 minutes — Val Holmes scores a try despite putting his foot on the line.

15 minutes — Dane Gagai belts Jarryd Hayne in the head — no action. Clear to all but two refs and two touchies.

Incidents from the 8th, 9th and 15th minutes.
37 minutes — Cameron Smith forward pass to Thurston from dummy half. Phil Gould says: “That pass was a metre forward”

39 minutes — Nathan Peats penalised for stripping on Tim Glasby — looked legitimate tackle — Glasby lost control.

42 minutes — Thurston slips then throws forward pass to Michael Morgan. Gus again: “At least a metre forward”.

Incidents from the 37th, 39th and 42nd minutes.
46 minutes — Josh Dugan taken out by Will Chambers chasing Pearce bomb (far worse than Maloney did to Slater). Should have been Blues penalty for 12-point lead.

51 minutes — Jarryd Hayne taken out by Chambers and Cronk chasing Pearce kick. Should have been a Blues penalty. QLD score try minute later.

60 minutes — Hayne penalised for strip on Gagai — clearly a loose carry.

66 minutes — Woods interfered with by QLD Dylan Napa at play the ball — should have been NSW penalty deep in own half.

Refereeing cost NSW a series win.

Remember those old "guess where the ball is" photo grids they used to have in Terrorgraph and others
Where's the ball?

Ha! It all puts bums on seats, sells media space and sends forums into meltdown. For mine, it's scripted for the Bananabenders to win game 3. Will Thurston play or won't he? They will milk that one, that's a certainty. Will the refs be put under immense pressure from both coaches. Mind games a plenty coming our way. On another note, very concerning the way Cordner looked in the dressing room after the game. Being the captain he made it look like the series is already lost rather than showing the team that they can regroup and win under his command.

Yep he looked like the series has gone already. Same with his interview on the field immediately after. Completely different to how Cameron Smith sounded on the field in his interview straight after game 1 who just sounded determined to be better in game 2.

The first i reckon was 85% chance of morris scoring

2nd not chance of a try ... just very dumb to give up possession so easy ... basically playing like the game is already won

Oi 85% is copyright. You owe me $5 in royalties asshface.

You can find a heap of calls nsw got away with to.
What ultimately cost us the game was Grahemes stupid rake and nsw shutting up shop and playing safe in 2nd half.

I'd stick with this side but I reckon it would be more potent with Jennings and Mansour on Haynes/Morris side.

Nsw gone into game without a specialist centre which hurts.

Pearce is a boring safe half. Best attacking halves nsw have are Maloney and Moylan but both cant tackle. Reynolds if wasn'talways injured would bring a little more attack.
Pearce has been glorified this year. But in big games he gets shut down and doesn't have a plan b.
Watch how Cronk and Thurston step up when their teams behind. Moylan does same at Penrith.

Jake trib is a great player. I thought he was one of best out there.

I dont think Holmes went out .... no problems with that try .... hayne's should have been a try years ago too

I am rather amazed there is only ONE camera angle of holmes try though ... infact they did show a replay from a camera behind after the try had been awarded, but only once for a fleeting glimpse ... why not a proper look?

I am soooooooooooo incredibliy over every f**ker whinging incesantly about our halves losing control

Ffs we do not have any halves in nsw who can control a whole game .... and we havent for f**k knows how long .... and i dont see any on the near horizon

Honestly ... pearce is what he f**kin is ... he is probably the best nsw half we have atm ... come to f**kin terms with it .... our opposition have f**king immortals running the show

Cordner might not be right for game 3 hence the long face.

Thurston was rubbish in game 2 anyway.
Did nothing apart from kick 3 goals.

But you won't hear anyone in the media say that.

I'm continually seeing reference to him cemented his legendary status after game 2. I just don't see it. He kicked a goal that a kicker of his accuracy should kick. Sure there was added pressure but he is a kicker, that is his job.

Had it been from the sideline with the bell gone then it means more but i don't think the game elevated him at all.
