Are Penrith a writeoff in 2017?

They play the most negative brand of football in the comp, completely against the spirit of the game.

They must not succeed, the future of the game is at stake.

We made the 8 after a 2 and 7 start. That in itself is an achievement and we did it even with a genius as coach and a team with players who are mostly under 25 and our leaders are busted like Moylan/Wallace or overrated peahearts i.e. Merrin/Tamou . We did alright to make the finals considering the start and the team's many flaws.

To be fair his performances were improved in the 2nd half of the season but overall considering the money he's on he has been disappointing
The real surprise was seeing Reagan Campbell-Gillard who had been one of our best for the last couple of months fail to aim up tonight. It was a curiously bad display by Penrith across the park to be honest and they only woke up late to score a couple of late tries when they realised they could be in danger of missing the 8.

They've had two other unexpectedly and exceptionally bad performances this year, against the Dragons and Rabbitohs. After each one, they won the following week.

Penrith's season.. the best way to sum it up, it's like backing a horse that's stuck 4 pairs back on the pegs and all the jockeys think the better going is 7 and 8 deep on the track, handing them a saloon passage.. because seriously, anyone with a brain knows they've had a dream run with the draw, they barely had to beat a top 8 side in their run of 7 in a row.. Manly? is that it? they beat them with a 14-4 penalty count in their favor

Heading into the 8 on the back of 2 losses says good night. The season is a fail. But 5 to 9 is a fail. Shit after what the Storm have shoen so is 2nd to 4th....

Top 8 is overrated, only teams who make the top 4 deserve praise,5th to 16th placed teams are failures and should be booed(Fact, nobody outside the top 4 ever wins the comp)

Mate I think he got bashed by that Manly defense and didn't have much hit up support.

Tamou is a useless, overpaid turd. The sooner he's replaced the better.

Mansour is catching a cold outside Peachey. A weapon like Mansour needs a bloke like Whare inside who'll set him up and give him ball. Peachey has plenty of raw talent but he'll never pass the ball so you might as well have a spot filler outside him rather than waste a gun like Mansour.

They were shit before Cartwright got injured.

They were good when he was out.

Theyve been shit since he came back.

Merrin was one of our best last year and had personal stuff happen so I can forgive him. Tamou needs to go.
