A win is a win who cares how it comes about? The Melbourne Storm have one of the best attacking structures in the game. They're exciting to watch, just because they manipulate the pace of the game in defence doesn't mean they're undeserving of a title. If anything it means they're smart. Any other team could try to replicate what they do and fail. The only team that comes close is the cowboys.

This whole referee smith thing is ridiculous. He is just a competitor and does what a captain should do. Id rather have my captain constantly talking to the ref than just sitting back and letting everything happen.

Just because every team gets dominated by them doesn't mean they're boring. Every other team could learn from them. The way that cronk and slater will create opportunities out of nothing is spectacular. Cronks boot is literally perfect and it is great to watch some of the kicks he pulls off. They're not a one trick team either like most teams they constantly change up their set plays. Their wingers are the most exciting wingers in the NRL. When most kids grow up they want to be players like Slater, Cronk, Addo-Carr. They are the furthest thing from anti rugby league. Teams like the warriors are anti rugby league.

I think they're just smart about the way they manage the cap. They only invest the big money in players they know will deliver week in week out. Cronk, Slater and Smith being these players. They build a team around 3 of the greatest players to ever play the game. Only player that is earning their big money in our squad is Sam Burgess. GI would be if he wasn't injured so much too. We're just shit at salary cap management. All those great players leaving highlights that shadow! Storm lets plenty of quality players go but they always make sure they have ready replacements. Look at proctor, Harris, Hoffman. They don't pay overs to retain players, they're very smart. They will only keep the players that they cannot replace. Munster, Slater, Cronk, Smith, Bromwich being the most notable.
