Can the Sydney Roosters win the Grand Final again this year?

I went to the ladder predictor at NRL.com to try to work out the Roosters likely prospects for the finals. Roosters are now third, and form suggests Roosters will remain 3rd at the end of round 26.

Roosters three remaining regular season games are:
Wests Tigers (home)
Cronulla (away)
Gold Coast Titans (home)

Roosters should win two of those with Cronulla away a possible win but not likely.
In that case (winning only two) Roosters enter the playoffs in 3rd place, and face Brisbane in Brisbane first week of the playoffs.
If Roosters lose to Brisbane in Brisbane then the following week they probably play Parramatta at Allianz.
If Roosters beat Parramatta then the penultimate game is probably against Melbourne in Melbourne.
A loss in Melbourne means Roosters don't make the Grand Final. A win in Melbourne means Roosters probably play Brisbane in the Grand Final.

The only way Roosters can change that very difficult path to the Grand Final is if they can make 2nd place, and for that to happen two things must both happen:
(1) Roosters win all remaining three regular season games including against Cronulla at Cronulla
(2) Brisbane loses either against Parramatta in Brisbane next weekend, or Brisbane loses against the Cowboys in Townsville in the final week round 26.

With 2nd place secured, in the first week of the playoffs Roosters meet Brisbane at home in Sydney (Allianz). Roosters would perhaps be slight favourites to win that.
If Roosters win that then they go straight to the penultimate week, probably against either Cronulla or Parramatta at ANZ.
If Roosters win that they are in the Grand Final, facing either Melbourne or Brisbane.

However if Roosters secure 2nd place and still lose to Brisbane at home (Allianz) in the first week of the finals, then they proceed to face either Cronulla or Parramatta in the following week.
If Roosters win that then they face Melbourne in Melbourne in the penultimate week.

So it seems to me that the most likely way that Roosters can make the Grand Final is if Roosters can win all remaining three games, and Brisbane loses at least one, and Roosters then beat Brisbane at Allianz.

Storm will win easily. Any team that loses to Cronulla from here on in should disqualify themselves. We suck balls.

In summary, if the roosters win all their remaining games this year they will win the comp. Enlightening.

Let's not jump to conclusions...

Can the Sydney Roosters beat the Wests Tigers this Saturday night?
