Ariel was released from her WWE/ECW contract. According to several backstage, she was released for a backstage incident with Batista. It appears that the two had an argument and she was simply defending herself.

Politically, that was the wrong move on her part. Another issue that came in to play was Stephanie McMahon’s opinion on her. Stephanie was never a fan of Ariel’s unique look and the fact that Paul Heyman handpicked her when ECW returned.

-- With Ariel’s departure from ECW, Kevin Thorn has been told he will be getting a makeover. So look for Thorn to be less of a vampire character. Sources are also saying that Dave Lagana isn’t one to “rock the boat” and will go with whatever WWE management wants, rather than fighting for the characters.

Regarding rumors that Rob Van Dam finished up with WWE on Tuesday night and will not be working any further dates, a WWE source stated yesterday that this was not confirmed.

Regarding Snitsky, the current plan is for him to stay with ECW and become their top heel. They're only airing vignettes of him on all three programs so that he seems more special, not because he's possibly moving to another brand. He's going to be feuding with Bobby Lashley soon.

Regarding Sabu, he did receive his release, but he cannot appear for TNA or do media interviews for 90 days. He never gives interviews, so that's moot point anyways. He can work indy shows if he wants.

I don't know that I'd like to see Sabu back in TNA, anyway. There's not really much more they can do with him. When he left he was somewhere near the top of the pecking order but never a main event threat - and since he's left they've considerably beefed up their roster.

why does everybody thats suppose to be scary have big boots and chokeslams

Well, when they're performed well, they're cool (as in, HBK's Sweet Chin Music or even Taker's big boot...Then again, Taker makes everything look so damned good).

Bloody hell...His vampire gimmick was intriguing. Although, to be fair, he never really did much with it to begin with...

I could see him being a very valuable member of TNA as he could bring the strictly hardcore element to the X-Division....sure he won't be a major heavyweight player but he could definitely add extra cred to the X-Div or even a Television Title if TNA ever considers it.

The problem with that is, he's already done all of that during his last run in TNA

Not quite in the X-Div though....Lethal, Sabin, Shelley, etc would bring out the best in Sabu.........well, at least that's what I hope!

Dusty Rhodes is trying to push Vince McMahon and head writer David Lagana into remaking ECW yet again to be more youth-oriented. Rhodes wants to develop all new characters and basically do what the original plan was since day one.

Lagana disagrees and wants to keep the course that the show is going. Vince also agrees with him, which means the brand will continue to run the course it has over the last few months.

With the recent draft of Viscera to the ECW brand, don’t be surprised if you see him on television more now, as WWE has some big plans for this massively large wrestler.

WWE is going to drop his current gimmick of being “The World’s Largest Love Machine” and make him more of a One Man Gang character, which means he will be basically be a mean, bad, wrecking machine. The idea for this is to get him over as big and unstoppable in ECW, and then bring him back to RAW or SmackDown! as a monster heel that can headline main events. They recently did this with Snitsky who is scheduled to mow down undercarders for the rest of the year and feud with Cena in 2008.

Reason behind Viscera’s push is because of his massive size and unlike some of the wrestlers backstage, he doesn’t have many problems. Dave Lagana didn’t want him on the brand if he wasn’t revamped with new image because he felt the “Love Machine’ gimmick would never get over as a headliner for the company. Furthermore, Vince McMahon liked the idea of Viscera being pushed like the One Man Gang in the 80's. Plus, it's easy to convince Vince to push a monster, even it's failed a few times before, as opposed to a smaller person, even if the person has a history of past success.
