This is mainly just 'Fem Agenda' designed to ensure they retain control of "DV" as a gender issue rather than a relationship issue as the figures increasing show us that women are violent in relationships nearly as often as men. They insert "accompanied by pattern of control" so that instances of women abusing men can be brushed aside as irrelevant. The man must have deserved it right?
No one deserves to be under the control of anyone else .Everyone deserves to live a life free from fear at least in their own home.
Which figures show this violent nature of women ? What do you mean by violent ?
Fem Agenda ..what is that ?

with respect that sounds like an opinion without a source

btw, how come it took you so long to be all over this ?
I just found it ...its only a few days old Twizz..we dont all spend all our days here.

With equal respect you only have to go as far as White Ribbon(one of the major pop sources that the NRL and other groups get their info from) to get the gist...you could go further afield ti equally obvious sources like NSW Health ...do i really need to source their policies?

Parramatta’s Kenny Edwards to learn fate as early as Thursday
CHRISTIAN NICOLUSSI, The Daily Telegraph
March 1, 2017 6:39pm

PARRAMATTA’S change of management could prove to be the lucky break that saves controversial forward Kenny Edwards’ Eels career.

Two years ago, the Parramatta problem child was told by the club’s previous management he would be sacked if he was involved in another off-field incident.

Yet it remains to be seen if the new Eels bosses will adopt their predecessors’ hard line stance and sack Edwards, whose NRL suspension for a domestic violence charge is expected as early as Thursday.

Edwards pleaded guilty to a common assault charge on Monday as it emerged in court he had sprayed water in the face of his former partner on December 11, then later poured raspberry vodka over her and her bed.

Eels boss Bernie Gurr confirmed he would resume talks with NRL integrity boss Nick Weeks late on Wednesday, and hoped to reach a “fair and reasonable’’ punishment by Friday at the latest.

Edwards pleaded guilty to common assault earlier this week.
It is understood Edwards will miss anywhere between one and three months, which will be a huge blow for Parramatta looking to bounce back from a horror 2016 campaign.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal Edwards was told at a tribunal hearing midway through 2015 he was on his last chance after he had provided a urine sample on behalf of teammate Kaysa Pritchard.

He was slapped with a nine-month ban.

A year earlier, Edwards was also hit with a two-match ban after he assaulted a fan on the Gold Coast.

Fed up with his antics, club officials made it clear to him they would not tolerate any nonsense a third time.

The NRL integrity unit will take into consideration Edwards’ growing track record when they sit down with the Eels to thrash out the finer details of the penalty.

When Edwards’ ultimatum was raised with Gurr, he told The Daily Telegraph: “I can’t comment on what was said previously. I don’t know what was said to him by prior management.

“All I can comment on is I spoke with Nick Weeks yesterday, and we have agreed to have more dialogue later today. I know this is very much on his radar.

“We’re hoping we can reach an outcome by the end of Friday.

“We’ll try and work out what is fair and reasonable.’’

Does anyone actually read the articles anyway?

What a joke! So if he isnt suspended what happens when we get to the "say no to violence against women"round ?..Does he get some other player to supply him with a dodgy clean police record...honestly. ...

LOL!!

The RL hater at it again.

He's been stood down and is awaiting punishment, who said he won't be suspended.

But but but but the articles!!!

Happy to defend any AFL player no matter what they do.

...and you still have to take the field in an all red jersey, stay in motion in the ruck area, and get randomly smashed by members of both teams for the whole 80mins?

He's already been stood down/suspended. You may have gone off a bit prematurely there. There is no chance he wont get a suspension with his priors imo but carry on.

EELS

A 102 kilo mountain of muscle, Kelepi Tanginoa is by far the most impressive Eel in the gym.

Having earnt the nickname ‘little hulk’ due to his impressive numbers, the forward has the biggest lifts for the bench, squat and overhead press.

Tanginoa recorded a 220 kilo back squat for three reps and an overhead shoulder press for five reps at 95 kilos.

And his bench press? An impressive 180 kilos.
