    Hayne>Inglis>Slater

Though in terms of what those players have achieved: Slater>Inglis>Hayne

A shame that history won't show Hayne as the true GOAT.

Hayne lost his fullback spot to Tyrone Roberts. Let that sink in to everyone who claims Hayne is great.

Hayne could yet bring a premiership to the Eels. If he does that he leap frogs Inglis and Slater in terms of greatness.

Here is a list of players I would take over Hayne at fullback. In no particular order, just ahead of Hayne.
    Billy Slater
    Cameron Munster
    Darius Boyd
    Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
    James Tedesco
    Tom Trbojevic
    Lachlan Coote
    Kalyn Ponga
    Josh Dugan
    David Mead
    Matt Moylan
    Valentine Holmes
    Will Hopoate
    Dylan Edwards
    Matt Dufty
    Latrell Mitchell
    Greg Inglis
    Bevan French
    Clint Gutherson

    Not even exaggerating.
The only fullbacks I would have him over would be Jack Wighton and Tui Lolohea. Even they could go either way

    hahaha

No offence to tyrone, always been handy without quite being a superstar and did pretty well being chucked at the back for what i think was his first time.

But in the overall picture this is like cooper cronk losing his spot to mcrone

    This.

If that wasn't enough to kick him in the nuts and really hurt his pride then it's over for him.

Seriously, Tyrone at fullback. FFS I've heard of hiding your defensive liabilities but Henry was down right screaming out that he had completely lost control of Hayne with that move.

It's a pity Tyrone doesn't photograph better than Hayne . . . all the little bloke had to do was sell more newspapers

He choked, which is quite ironic because him and his merkin club choke everyone.

Is this Sheild Merkin Popeye’s son????

Wants to swallow Ploddy’s Slaters man juice almost as much and is as jealous of our lord and Saviour Jarryd Hayne.

Jealous of Hayne? Seriously? The guy loses everywhere he goes. How many wooden spoons has he got? He’s won 1 Origin series out of what like 8-9, and that 1 only happened because Cronk broke his arm. Took a team that made the finals when he joined to 2nd last after just one year. For all the hype about his NFL gig, he really sucked over there. Fumbled so much that he got dropped to the practice squad, then quit cause he realised he was in over his head. Couldn’t crack it in the Fiji 7s team. What exactly is there to be jealous of? Comparing Hayne to Slater is a joke, Hayne can only dream of being at the same level as Slater

Theoretically he also lost his state of origin spot to Gidley in 2010 when Hayne was universally considered the best fullback ever in the galaxy.
This was far more to do with his obscene versatility such that the truth is it is not clear where his best position is (he is better than everyone at 6 different positions in the backline). He dominates all over the park with running, passing, kicking, tackling, creativity. He is a play maker.
Billy is a fullback in a very specific attacking scheme which includes needing to surround him with superstars and wrestling behemoths. He does not have the skill set to play anywhere else. He is so useless at any other position that you cannot even fit him into a squad if he is not the starting fullback.
