Sharks media release says he's been given time of training to sort some personal things out & will be back at training next week...& he's embarrassed by the walkout "story".

I still hope we release him, he's surplus to requirements.

Gorman didn't understand half of Hughes's questions.

He was totally underwhelmed me from what I saw him do at Penrith.

He was an outstanding player for Penrith and played Origin from our club. It was no secret he wanted to play fullback, but we had Rhys Wesser and then Lachlan Coote, both specialists in the position. He did play most of his last couple of seasons with Penrith (when he wasn't injured) at FB but in the end the Sharks offered him overs.

A lot of our supporters were very unhappy that he left.

Most people don't understand Hughes's questions. The bloke is a dead set dribbler who thinks he is the worlds best sports journalist.

Bingo!

Gorman was on 2uE straight after and it was very straight forward.

Hughes has his pet hates and deliberately goes on to make himself appear the know it all.

If Gorman was a female kiwi, he wouldn't have carried on like a spoiled brat

Nah its gordons fault. He should of realised Flannos word is meaningless and you should not trust what he says, like who would actually believe their coach when he says you can look elsewhere we will release you?

Ummm most coaches have the say in who comes and goes

Just look at des apparently some woman running the club wanted fafita des didn't.

In this case apparently flanno agreed to let Gordon negotiate because the sharks weren't offering a contract for next year.

Conditions were parra offer him a contract for 2016, and pick up the remainder of his 2015 contract payments, good outcome for Gordon good for the sharks who save some coin.

Takes the proposal to the board and some dumbarse board members sink the deal.

One thing has always stunk at the sharks no matter who the coach has been, and that's the board, its not up to them to tell the coach he has to keep a player unless its going to cost them financially.

Take money, just like any union.

League players can only dream of having a strong players union. The best run sports in the world all have a strong players representative body. Our boofheads listen to there agents though.

He was talking so much crap trying to spin it. He claims no one from Cronulla ever told Gordon he could look elsewhere(does anyone even believe that?) so apparently Gordon and his manager went and negotiated with Parra and even turned up there expecting to train without ever being given permission. He also says he is good friend with Parra's ceo, coo and the chairman or a board member but when asked if he spoke to any of his mates about who they think gave Gordon permission to speak to other clubs or about the text messages Parramatta claim to have indicating Gordon would be released he stumbles and said "no im just here to speak about cronulla" despite already saying he has looked into the messages and to the best of his knowledge they do not exist, looked into them but didn't speak to the people who claim to have them lol come on.

He was almost left speechless trying to think of crap to say more than once by questions about this Gordon thing.

I actually think Hughes is one of the few who asks hard questions. Can be brutal if he is carrying a grudge. Was merciless with Gallop at times. A lot of the others don't want to offend.

Graeme is a fool. Doesn't watch games, doesn't have a clue.

I have trouble understanding half the stuff he dribbles out on the radio and I'm an MBA*.

* Not realy.
