If there was a player from the lower grades who was killing it then and only then replacing him.
His time will come for him to retire so let’s get a grand final win this year and let go out on a high.

We have a real chance of winning the GF this year so we need to put our best foot forward and field the strongest team possible. Nightingale knows he is no spring chicken and I'm sure he knows that although he put his heart and soul into every game, he is constantly beaten for speed these days. Maybe this is one reason why Aitken rarely passes the ball to him; he thinks he has a better chance in going it alone.

The Club has been loyal to Nightingale by extending his contract an extra year. Now it's time for Nightingale to mentor the young guns and maybe show the Club his value as a mentor in a role after his NRL career.

There was a player from the lower grade Lomax selected in the 17 and then given 5 minutes !
