Ayshford is doing good over here. He clearly faily average accross the board but its exactly what we've needed out of a centre over the past few years. A good defender who is at least above Dane Nielsen levels of attack. Strong and works hard too.

Doesnt deserve to be n the list

So who is the worst premiership winning fullbacks of the nrl era then? Though worst isn't the best word when describing it considering the quality of all the fullbacks eligible. Maybe least best?

Well here is your list to pick from (including those stripped for breaches of the salary cap) -

1998: Darren Lockyer
1999: Robbie Ross
2000: Darren Lockyer
2001: Robbie O'Davis
2002: Luke Phillips
2003: Rhys Wesser
2004: Luke Patten
2005: Brett Hodgson
2006: Justin Hodges
2007: Billy Slater
2008: Brett Stewart
2009: Billy Slater
2010: Darius Boyd
2011: Brett Stewart
2012: Billy Slater
2013: Anthony Minichiello
2014: Greg Inglis
2015: Lachlan Coote.

Put Bwaith in there cos that decision to play him there meant he was the worst fullback of all history

But yeah - it's a shit thing to do when you put Diamond in a list that contains some of those other players mentioned

Maybe have "full back position excluded" due to them all being awesome!

1. Inglis

I have no idea why the media aren't questioning his form and commitment. Are people scared of critizing him since the johns incident?

His down on form, but to call him the worst fullback in the game is a huge over exaggeration. He hasn't done much wrong this year. Even the Napa try tonight was more of a good kick and unlucky bounce for inglis then anything else. His commitment has been questioned, but he made more runs than any player from both sides tonight. Souths need to commit to him more as he seems to be playing a lone hand at the moment. Teams target him massively in defence because souths have zero other threats. Souths just feed inglis the poor with 2 or 3 defenders right on him and expect him to do it all himself. Inglis in poor form is still better then alot of other fullbacks in the nrl.

He isnt even the worst player in the Souths side. He is one of the highest paid so his form should be questioned but he isnt playing that bad. I wouldnt pick him for Australia mind.

He is breaking tackles and making metres. He made 155 today. He just isnt the most creative player in the world. He depends a lot on his physical gifts. Souths were really out of ideas today. No organisation, the roosters were pumping them in the forwards. He wasnt as good as Dugan was against the Broncos but there was a lot of similarities imo.

I would be looking at every other player in the Souths spine before Inglis. Now like I said Inglis is paid a lot more than the rest of them so that does count for something but they just stunk in the skill positions today. Doesnt help that the forwards were getting absolutely carted though,.
