Dan Hunt says hi, I know he retired last season but the most ineffective prop forward to EVER play.

Hunt was good before his injury in 2010. Never the same after he came back.

As for the team, Kurt Mann, Luke Kelly, and Jake Marketo need some love.

Needs more Adrian Purtell.

A spot of Dane Laurie wouldn't go astray either.

Edit: Durrrrrh, its current players only.

You should watch a Cowboys game from time to time, Kosty has been very solid for us and is even more valuable to us since the interchange was reduced to 8 as he plays as a backrower when Granville comes on. Hes never going to be a superstar but he's a great utility who could probably walk into the starting hooker position of half the teams in the comp.

The Cowboys turn to mud whenever Granville comes off. I'm also pretty sure both games you lost this year happened when roaring Rory started. Decent defender but horrible dummy half service.

Luke Kelly and Ryan Morgan unlucky not to get starts, David Gower is a good solid first grade and doesn't deserve to be on here.

What about a worst team of premiership winning players? Only from the nrl era

1. Phillips
2. C. Smith
3. Linett
4. Hegarty
5. Fitzhenry
6. Rudder
7. Perry
8. Tyrell
9. Perry
10. Howe
11. Marquet
12. O'neill
13. Lowrie

14. D. Williams (storm)
15. Mauro
16. Hughes
17. Saffy

Some of these guys aren't that bad, like luke Phillips for example, but most other premiership fullbacks are stars. Only starting players in their grand final positions in the starting 13 and bench players for the bench obviously.

I'd probably have Shane Elford before Kane Linnett. He was ok defensively but overall a very average first grader.

Mark O'Neil was a very underrated player IMO. Did a lot of the hard work, great defender and later in his career developed a very good before the line passing game. He was very important to our success in 2005.

Fullback and 2nd row where the 2 positions that were the hardest to pick. Almost every premiership fullback or 2nd rower has played origin or international football, and the ones that haven't like Phillips and patten at fb or o'neill and cooper are great clubmen.

Linnett is worth his weight in gold. Great defender and hole runner, doesn't deserve to be in that team.

You're kidding yourself about Robbie Ross. Bloke was a jet.

As Diego said fullback is hard to pick, I confess I picked him because I don't remember him as much as the others, I just couldn't bare to see diamond in the worst grand final winning team.
