It is one of those songs ey.
I'm not sure what it is but it just gets in your head and you never get sick of it.
For me there are a few others along the same line
God - my pal
The only ones - another girl another planet
The hellmen- homegrown

Just perfect repetitive rock n roll
Yep.
Funny enough I've played every one of those songs you listed in one band or another. My Pal would be spread across 5 different bands

Harry Dean Stanton, who died last week at the age of 91. Best known as an actor with lead roles in Paris Texas, Repo Man, Pretty in Pink, Twin Peaks. I probably first saw him in Cool Hand Luke as a guitar playing inmate and in the Mini Skirt Mob as a biker.

Harry had a second career as a bluesy country singer and even toured here in 1990, described at the time as one of the coolest guys on the planet.

I think him and Charlie sheen were mates

he was definitely mates with Jack Nicholson, they did a few of those B grade biker movies in the late 60s, like Hells Angels on Wheels and The Rebel Rousers.

not a hard rocker by any means but a hard drinker and Tony Blair's father in law, older forumers would have watched the British sitcom Til Death Do Us Part back in the day.

British actor Anthony Booth has died - he played the part of the "Randy Scouse Git" in 60 sitcom Til Death Us Do Part, from which the original name of the Monkees tune Alternate Title was derived.

Actor and activist Tony Booth dies
He starred in programmes including BBC sitcom Till Death Us Do Part.
