Milford's ball handling and kicking game are big negatives. The positive aspects of his game (unpredictability and threat to defensive lines) don't outweigh those negatives.
But they do make him a better playmaker. This is why teams carry a player like this (and Moses) in their side, rather than just using a back rower or centre with a kicking game.

I have been talking about kicking and ball handling. Ball handling and a short kicking game are needed to make plays are they not?

It still requires enormous skill and precision to deliver what Cronk does. Surely the term playmaker extends beyond someone constantly just pulling stuff out of their backside.
Becuase every f**ken play that they have ever come up with has worked perfectly and they have never had to change anything.
Pretty good playmaker as well.
Elite players make teams look excellent as well.
They carry players like Milford and Moses because there aren't enough Cronk's to go around.
