Just back home after the game
Speed got us yet again, 2 intercepts when they just cooked us, we got a couple of similar chances and didn’t have the speed to finish
2 tries from kicks that could have gone anywhere
Possibly the best attack for a while , but fmd Lussick, and Lane, both L players. How Lussick is regarded as that superior to Hands is questionable, how many times did he kick from inside our 30 on the 4th giving field position to the Broncos that they took advantage of, his passing isn’t superior to Hands either.
Lane got in the way more than once and just looks out of sorts

Forwards did Ok, centres likewise ok not costing us, wingers same, , fullback did as expected.

So disappointing to watch them use speed as they realised we couldn’t match them, so that’s smart from Walters.

Still , even after an improvement the coaching and recruiting is still sub par, needs actioning.

This.

I'm pretty disappointed with another loss again but there were some good signs in tonights game especially with Blaize. Its just those missed moments that couldve gone our way, like the two knock ons that led the runaway tries, Penisini and Simonson over the line but not scoring. They looked more dangerous in attack but only managed the two tries so hopefully with Moses back next week they'll put more points on.

Have to agree with Lussick and Lane, especially with those meaningless kicks from Lussick. Twice it gave the Broncos good field position and led to tries. He also went the wrong way a few times, Penisini and Simonsen were unmarked and decided to give it to a forward.

Sweet as, pleased that the table accounts for Moses and Gutherson missing. That’ll be handy come the end of the year when the table is balanced.

What allowance do the Broncos get for Reynolds being out?
There is no allowance you idiot. But take your two most influential attacking players out of any team and at times you will look lost. We created more opportunities and couldn't make the most of it. That's football

lol, ok. If you’re happy losing by a respectable 16 points, bully for you. That is football - but it seems to be very common football for this very ordinary football team. Would be f**king great to be on the end of a team that wins by 16 without key players.

I could have achieved the same as Bea Arthur the last 11 years as well. How can anyone who is supposedly still an Eels fan still want him here??
Cause the attacking shape was the best we have seen this year. Defence was outstanding. In which area were we worse than Brisbane?

We all want to win.

This whole "satisfied with mediocrity" is weak arsed bullshit.
I want the team to win. I also know how much the eels had stacked against them last season. Constant suspensions and injuries. Dylan brown deciding to lose the bye and sitting out for a few months. Being the only team in the entire comp to not get a bye for origin including the warriors (still need an explanation on why the warriors need a bye lol). And with all that the eels were still only one win outside making finals

Well we "out-statted" them, but they scored more points than we did (or we conceded more points than they did, if you prefer it that way).

So therein lies the seemingly perennial issue under BA's reign - apart from that second half of season 2022.

Mate the problem is even with our two most influential attacking players in we still look lost under our coaching. It's f**king frustrating to watch us do crash play after crash play in the opponents 20. Merkin.
