Not saying we should chase him and not even sure what his form is like, but wouId Coote be an option?

Did seem to have a kicking game and was a main part of the cowboys attack in their premiership winning year. Probably needs a change and wouId be fairly cheap:

1. Coote
2. Hayne
3. Gutho
4. Jennings
5. Ferguson
6. Norman (or salmon if he leaves)
7. Moses

Just throwing it out for discussion, who else is available?

Actually, it's a dogs breakfast atm. We don't know whether Hayne will re-sign, if Norman sticks around or Jennings stays or goes. Our backline has been akin to musical chairs all season with some players looking like stars in a position one week then go missing in action the next. It's like they are good enough, just not consistently enough to gain some working combinations as a backline.

Because if so, I agree - some of his plays are mind-numbingly insipid at times, and they are the sort of plays that look good on replay.

That said our fitness, our defence and even our attack have improved from our diabolical start.

seems like it's only been in the last month we have finally achieved match fitness
only four months behind the other 15 teams but you can't rush these things
