Apparently the offer put in front of Bodene was dire. Unlikely he'll accept and we won't up it. A pleasing Stalemate.

Makes sense. Always found it odd that people were saying he was testing the market.

Signed with us to be closer to family to begin with. Always wondered if he was "testing the market" because we low balled him.

Look, to be brutally honest this team needs way more than a couple of off-season signings to become contenders. 22 years and they are worse now than when they started.

Main thing is a bloody good coach. At least get what cattle we have playing consistently to or near their potential. With Matulino back (and starting to play well) and Gavet's emergence, our forward pack should be competitive enough if well coached. But a NAS or even better, Graham, would certainly help. Plus less, as in none, Bodene Thompskin.

I would much prefer supporting a well-coached, but mediocre team, playing hard and consistently than a team with lots of quality individuals being crap. Titans and the Eels I admire. Not the best rosters, but plenty of heart and effort.

Toa Sipley signed and sealed to Manly

Article also suggested that it could be a mid season move, if Manly release Myles to Melbourne mid season

Madness. What an awfully run football club. Here's an idea. We will sit on our hands and wait half the season before trying to re-sign any of our lads. Meanwhile we can't attract anyone in.

Pretty silly really.

He had some areas to his game that he needs to sort out but what 22 year old prop doesn't? And it's not like Lisone/Vete/Sao were carving up in front of him.

Now Lillyman to the Roosters is getting a run.

We could be losing Matulino, Lillyman, Sipley, Sipley, Gubb, Hoffman, Thompson, Vete and so far have replaced them with 2 players.

That maths don't look good.

This makes me angry. We better have a big-name forward signed up for next year, because if not, letting Tof go proves Warriors management is totally dipshit.

I'd invested quite a bit of positive energy in regard to Tof, it was exciting to know we had this new beast bubbling under the surface, then, in a flash, he's gone.

Foran should've gone before the June 30 deadline, as soon as he announced he was leaving he turned average. Now he's a liability.

Lillyman must decide to finish his career at a club like the Roosters. He's put in so much for us over the years, and for what?
