If Monaghan was on the wing instead of McManus then Inglis doesn't score. He would have easily ran him down. Scott or Cooper have to come in for Lyon. Gidley had a good game up until those couple of mistakes. He did not lose the game for us.
You are kidding right? Cooper is a chance for a call up but Scott will never play an Origin in his life.
Meanwhile Rove needs to go, too slow and kept slipping over, bring in the Dragons Morris.

Have you actually been watching Beau Scott play this year. He would be suited to Origin. The main reason Soward is going so good is because he has Scott protecting him.

the only changes i would make is in the halves and probably have one of either Poore/Weyman to start the match in place of Kite. Wing and Farah on the field at the same time for the lsat 50 minutes of the game

He and Wallace were both rubbish, Wallce at least deserved to be their in the 1st place and deserves to keep his spot it's time to go for Campese though.
LOL @ the Gidley hate it's not his fault the halves had f**k all in attack so he had to play hooker and 1st receiver alot in the 2nd half it buggered him and he was stuffed by the end of the game.

Campo was one of few not to miss a tackle either
For thurston's try he covered one blokes f**k up, then when hayne came in field it was campo who stopped Folau from going in untouched and force him to kick back infield, He completely shut lockyer down.
If his NSW mates had of shown half the desperation he did in defense perhaps Greg Inglis wouldnt have carved us up

in attack he was calling for ball but never got any, he needed to assert himself more and make sure he got the ball in his hands because the time NSW looked most threatening was when it was on his side of the field linking with Creagh, Jennings and Hayne. He put a few neat passes onto creagh hitting holes, had Jennings and O'Donnell held on to the ball there was two tries on offer imo... and he set up one with his kick to Hayne.

All in all i dont think he was nearly as bad as being made out, he was bad, but mainly because he simply didnt inject himself into the game... i guess he wasnt bad, he was just missing for most of the game. When he injected himself he was good

His Kicking game was absolutely rubbish.

And in absolute fairness, his game was on par with Mullen's first attempt at Origin, so by that reasoning he should be dropped but the difference is in Mullen's first game he was NSW's worst half. In this case, that crown belongs to Peter Wallace who probably had the worst game of any NSW half. He was terrible

Did you even watch the game?

Gidley is a fantastic player, but he had a shocker.

Take the Newcastle goggles off, you are only embarrassing yourself.

 Shocker hey? You are kidding.

Disappointing performance by his usual high standards, but "a shocker" it certainly was not.

Probably becasue they felt sorry for him for making crucial errors which lead to the demise of the NSW team.

Isn't this thread about Campese anyway?

Yes, it is about Campese, but that was before some halfwit dragged Gidley's name into it.

Why do you care so much anyway? He is playing like a busted, but keep in mind he is 26 himself playing with a bunch of kids really. His halfback has played about 20 games and his backline most the year has been blokes brought up from U20's. He isn't working with much really and the whole side is trying to work out how to play together.

Whatever helps you sleep at night though.
