Gruden on ESPN has denied that his deal includes part ownership with the Raiders.

Straight up cash deal for the Raiders. I heard that he’s interested in money more than an ownership stake due to the implications it potentially has on his estate tax.

I wonder if any other owner sees this and tries to muscle in on the deal to offer more cash.

Maybe the ownership stake could be a deal made for post career.
