They claimed she had a run-in with Bulldog forward Willie Mason after she tried to jump in a cab he was sharing with other players, including Braith Anasta.

Sources close to the police inquiry – but not directly involved in it – say the woman went to the Pacific Bay Resort with one of the players and had sex with him in his room between midnight and 5am last Sunday.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

One account indicated the player who had consensual sex with the woman earlier was the same person who helped her after the alleged assault, but that he was not involved in the attack.

Geez you're home early SS
didnt go out tonight, part of my new fri-rest-sun program

anasta and falzon have broken up according to their mouthpiece, danny weidler
since then, falzon got busted for punching a girl in the face at the coogee palace...charming young lady. she showed her true bulldog tendencies by claiming that she was the victim.

and anasta looks like he's gone on to bigger and better things
but the less said about that, the better!

she claimed she was being stalked or something like that

ugh what a whinge that was
once i was done reading that BS, i felt like slapping falzon

she even got her parents to go into bat for her
once that happens, youve got less than zero credibility

well it looks like the SMH has gone the gossip and hear-say path again, it really stumps me why anyone would read that dribble.

I guess if they were that confident of getting off they wouldn't have to resort to sliniging mud at the girls character in the Sunday papers.

Simply wait until no charges were laid and let it all die.

Pretty low effort from the players and even lower form the journalist.

That's right PJ
Even if they were innocent...there were still some disgusting quotes in there

And far from saying "we didnt do it because we respect women and dont get into dirty group sex with tarts", the gutless anonymous players basically said "we finished with this low life tart the other night...so we cast her aside, she was beneath contempt the second time we saw her!"

Whether or not it is true the tone of their quotes could only have one possible outcome: to bring the game into disrepute. It is certain that there has been further damage done to the code, and the Bulldogs for that matter, by these pathetic anonymous quotes given to a disgraceful gutter journalist with no regard for the truth.

Everything sounds above board to me.
I don't see anything wrong with anything thats happened.
Group sex is quite normal behaviour, even more so these days.
There is not one porno that doesn't include it.
Girl on girl action is even visible in music clips these days.
I think it is quite the prude to condemn the bulldogs for any sexual exploits adventures.
I don't feel that they have further tarnished the game.
I feel they have given their version of events to counter a very serious allegation (that may turn out to be false) from who seems to be a serious nutter.
Nothing but total honesty can assist them if they are innocent.
Their comments about rugby league "bunning" is spot on. Probably much to the angst of current & past wives.
I have seen hundreds of these girls over the years.
I saw one girl who played the whole weekend with a bunch of guys, then they took her to work for 3 days & she listened to music in the car inbetween you know what. Even I was shocked at her staying power.
For the bulldogs, they are lucky in the fact that there was 1 player there to assist her when she was allegedly distressed.
Funny thing in those situations, there always is.

I just hope that nothing comes of this, but, what do you think will happen to the player(s) if he(they) is charged?.....he(they) will be innocent still after charges are laid.

what a mess!

I'd predict that if any player was charged they would be indefinitely suspended from playing until proven innocent or guilty. Who knows, they could even be detained by police.

MMM? "A serious nutter" ? Havent heard that said about the female involved.
Carinashark.
From a collection of quotes put together from 3 rd party witnesses, there seems something excessive about this young lady.
eg. I own this place.

Nobody has disputed the fact that she was there nights earlier & was with up to 8 players.

reefy, your idea of a "third party" is different to mine
the quote came from one of the players
After their victory over Canberra last Saturday, the Canterbury players said, the alleged victim was at the Plantation club ...They claimed she had a run-in with Bulldog forward Willie Mason after she tried to jump in a cab he was sharing with other players, including Braith Anasta.

"She spat at him, told him that footballers were no good. She told the players that she owned the place and she was off to get the bouncers."

The quote didnt come from a "third party", it came from a player. Probably a player with a vested interest in the outcome. So I wouldnt tar her with that brush just yet.

Do they usually assign multiple officers and a specific task force to these cases as well?

Do these cases your familiar with also come with medical evidence consistent with the alleged victims version of events.

So I guess by your definition a prostitute could never be raped?

And she was allegedly there the other night. Where's the proof of that. Very easy for un-named players to sling that sort of accusation but little evidence that it is true. As SS said just put about by people who stand to profit by it being accpeted as fact. And even if it were true does that automatically deny her the option of refusing at a later date? Maybe I'm old fashioned or just have a sense of decency but any girl, even if she's the biggest s**t in the world, says no then anything from there on is sexual assault.

By all means give the players innocent until proven guilty, but you've got to give the victim the same treatment.
