EELS START THE CULL

It’s expected the profit line at Parramatta Leagues Club will be significantly slimmer this year, largely thanks to the hiring policy of former CEO Ken Edwards.

The Eels are now going through a cull, parting ways with media manager Adam Thompson and operations boss Matt Phelan over the past fortnight.

Thompson’s hands-on style of engagement was never our cup of tea, as this happy snap of him obstructing a newspaper photographer attests.
