He's meeting with Storm officials this week too.
It was mentioned on that Sunday footy show but they also thought we were still favourites to get him.(then they raved on about how they'd like to see him at Melbourne)

Dont be fooled by the Melbourne talk. The NRL will do aything to assist the Storm, in order to maintain a strong NRL presence in that city. So expect some kind of assistance package made available to the Storm for bringing Benji back to the NRL.
Hopefully the Sharks are playing this correctly & just waiting to see & just stick their hand out for the same assistance package after the Storm proposal is approved.
The biggest problem for us is Ch9

We signed a new ball girl for NSW Cup

Speaking of ball boys, One of the ball boys in the background against the pennies (A kid of about 8) was walking along slowly doing little chip kicks to himself. we played the ball near his touch line and in the background the kid did his little kick, dropped it, then accidently stood on it mid stride and proceeded to eat a shit sandwich on the sideline as he faceplanted into the turf.

He'll either get 4 weeks for a dangerous throw or we will throw him a 5 year heavily back-ended contract.

On signings Andy Raymond said we'd offered Ennis a 3 yr contract and I think Holmes was re-signed.Sorry if it's been mentioned elsewhere.
Ennis was on Sterlo's show and gave the impression he wanted to stay at the Dogs.
That's my roundup of the Footy tv shows.
I watch too much of it.

As hard as it is to take, I can't blame the NRL or Ch Nein for this approach.

They can't afford for the interest in the Storm to decline & with the big 3 getting on, it'll start to happen as they start to lose more often.

100% agree .Its one of those things that goes into the "things we can't change" categories " Seeing the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks as a viable and valuable part of the future of NRL. is in the "things we can change" category , and yet there is so little positive input here apart from ""go to the games " "become a member " "Just Win ". There is so much MORE could be done with a little imagination .
