I hope the guys watched tonight and saw the Sharks get smashed and remember that we lost to that rabble. We better not do the same against the Raiders.

If there is one weakness that has transpired from last season to this is the fact that we don't finish teams of in the final 15-20 minutes of the 2nd half.

Yesterday,we only scored 6 points in the final 1/4 of the match, and this has to be looked and improved on.

A more balanced and improved Penrith side will be putting 40-60 points in the near future.

No doubt we can improve. That 2nd half started like any other this year for us no possession and we are defending etc. Usually we concede tries and didn't.

Look at the minutes played by our forwards. Manu and Seg full games. Peachey 72 mins. losing 2 forwards before halftime we were always going to get tired better getting tired in attack not defence

There are a few changes to Ivan Cleary’s team this week thanks to a couple of injuries we’ve picked up in recent weeks.
James Segeyaro will start as hooker with Kevin Kingston ruled out for another week with a foot problem, Nigel Plum will sit this one out too after being concussed in the game against Newcastle, and Elijah Taylor still has a few weeks left until he’s fit.
The good news is Tim Grant is back after recovering from a calf strain, with Jeremy Latimore, Matt Robinson and Isaah Yeo rounding out the bench.

2.Josh MANSOUR
3.Dean WHARE
4.Jamal IDRIS
5.Dave SIMMONS

13.Adam DOCKER
INTERCHANGE: 14. Matt ROBINSON, 15. Jeremy LATIMORE, 16. Isaah YEO, 17. Tim GRANT

NSW CUP
There’s been a big change for our NSW Cup side after Isaac John ruptured his Achilles during last Saturday night’s win over Newcastle, putting him out for the rest of the season.
Coach Garth Brennan has called on Daniel Foster to step up and fill his shoes alongside Luke Capewell. Captain Nathan Smith will also move into the centres to cover Isaah Yeo who’s been named in the first grade side, and Bryce Cartwright will start at lock.

Good squad.

Glad to see Segs getting another starting gig. Glad Docker's still in it too. Given Cleary's tendency to play his cards close to his chest I probably wouldn't be surprised if the side doesn't quite run out as named.

Looks a more menacing side without Kingston. Still can't help but be perplexed at how Yeo has come to be in front of Cartwright in the pecking order.

I think probably because Bryce had no off-season and had a shoulder reconstruction. He is probably only just getting to where he needs to be physically.

Versatility perhaps. When you have Docker and Idris not 100% he's a safe option to cover both.
I think Segeyaro could be in for a big game against Canberra.

On the official Holden cup team page on fb someone asked the question about Waqa Blake and the response from whoever runs that page said he's injured. Don't know how reliable that is so take it for what it's worth.

This. It took him 4 games to get to a NYC level. You would think he needs atleast 4 in NSW Cup before getting a start.

Ryan Simpkins played tonight for Penrith in NSW Cup.

Sam Anderson is travelling as 18th man to Canberra.
