Bulldogs are grubs?

How can a club continue to support Ennis as a captain ?

If he is the leader , I feel sorry for any parents who support , or have children who support this club. If they have a grub as a captain , well what does it say for the club.

What a leadership image he provides ?
How to Bully , how to take cheap shots , how to antagonise , how to waste playing time , every dirty trick to get under other player skins.

The performance yesterday by a captain , was the worst pathetic effort i have ever seen.
Fortunately i do not watch many bulldog games.

I am very proud of the leadership style that GI is providing , as well as John Sutton. Perhaps they may keep their mouth closed more than other captains may ,however i prefer their style which has more integrity.

How to be a Leader 101, by Michael Ennis:

- bitchslap opposition halfback
- drive head of opposition hooker into ground
- feign injury when opposition hooker retaliates
- twist leg of opposition props on multiple occasions
- break protocol by complaining to referee at every stoppage
- rub hand into opposition halfback's face
- pull opposition backrower's headgear

If all this fails, have coach complain about referees.

Oh please...........

He's role is to wind up the opposition and if they're too thick to see it then they have to accept it. His tactics worked a treat against the August Premiers last night.

I do not have an issue with a player that takes on this role i.e. the other Bulldog grub Reynolds. My point is having a grub as a Captain.

so if the bulldogs are grubs, does that mean it was bug spray that the bunnies spray their clothes with before a game?

Hold on... this is coming from fans of the same club who's star halfback tried putting one of our players on his head while the hooker had him in a headlock... and that same hooker had earlier lashed out with his feet Josh-Reynolds-style.

Hopefully both those grubs serve a few weeks on the sidelines.

I remember Sterlo talking about how he took Ennis aside and spoke about his legacy, and did he want to be remembered as 'Ennis the menace'.

Clearly the advice of someone as respected as Sterlo didn't sink in.

I'm sure Dessie is happy with the grubbery. It clearly pays off... oh wait.

He was fantastic last night. Truly a pleasure to watch. This thread just adds to the enjoyment.

Niggle is one thing. Admitting to trying to break someones leg or squeezing someones balls.. now they are real grub acts.

Well, considering his options are:
a) being remembered as Ennis the menace,
b) being remembered as Ennis the idiot who blew NSW's chances of winning Origin for several years, or
c) being totally forgotten about,

you can understand why he plays the way he does.

Ennis is a genius and he know's exactly how to wind up the opposition (and refs) yet stops right before he goes too far. Reynolds was poor last night and Ennis' efforts were a massive reason for that.

Always lol when he gives the refs a compliment after they give him a spray

Ennis was brilliant last night. It's funny watching opposition player's go completely off their game because they don't have the mindset to shut him out. He's a grub. He's an entertaining grub. It works.

I was about to say something similar.

If he was a wanker, he would never have played Origin.

'Origin player', & all that junk.
