Regards Tupou and Taufua, Matt Cameron told SK they wouldn't make NRL. I spoke to BA who wanted to keep Taufua but was over ruled, Tupou also wanted to stay but was plainly told by Cameron that he was cut.

Cameron was generally poor at recognising talent, Noaln came on board and things started to change

Isn't Matt Cameron now running Penrith's 'academy'? They seem to be doing ok.

The fact is Daniel Tupou was a late bloomer and we already had plenty of average wingers when he came off contract. And coming into a strong team the Roosters were able to use his strengths while hiding his flaws. Eels wingers haven't had that luxury.

. In early 2012 we did introduce a plan called "Project 2015 — built from within". The architect of this program was a gentleman by the name of Matt Cameron, who is now our high performance manager. Matt is responsible for overseeing this entire operation.

When I first spoke to him about working for Panthers, I told him I wanted to review and reshape our entire development programs. I asked him if he could make it happen.

I gave Matt a blank canvas to create his own program and his own job description. Within a week he presented a brilliant model for Panthers. I simply said, "Build it." Matt has done the rest. He has been a key acquisition. Our CUBS participation program begins with kids as young as 12. The best youngsters will then progress to our JETS (Junior Elite Training Systems) and junior representative teams. We also have COLTS programs for late developers.

But Cameron may just be better at the management / structure side rather then player identification

Kearney identified where we were lacking and brought a lot of good people to the club, including Brad Arthur, Peter Nolan and Will Hopoate.

He also brought us some handy players and built our NYC squad that shat all over your club Penrith this year. Plus SG Ball were minor premiers.

I think Penrith won it last year thou didn't they?And bulk of there team this year is 18.So wil be better next year id say.

Anyhows have a look at penriths young guys.Anyone notice the difference in there surnames compared too what they used too be like and compared too our young guys surnames? I thought its funny how penrith is an area where a lot of these spices are and they used to be full of these spices but all of a sudden they don't seem to use as much of this spice if any.We have a lot of this spice thou.

Oh I give him credit for nothing yet SK.WHy? BA is unproven and so is Nolan.
When we have 5-6 good juniours come thru I ill say well done.At the moment Jnr Paulo and Tepai are the only two I have big wraps on.And Jnr im guesing was already there.

Matt Cameron copied the programme Brian Smith put in place, down to the JETS name ( was the Junior Eels Training Scheme). Guess there is nothing new, only plagiarised and reinvented it

My favourite Sandwich is ham cheese lettuce with a bit of salt pepper and mustard pickles.

Second favourite is tomato paste tuna olives and garlic with a bit of olive oil.
