About time you did a Gains Vrs Losses List Poo?
Looks like Eto is very confident under the high ball. A huge plus. Seems to have some other skills as well. His height will be very advantageous.
I like the signings thus far. All appear goers and in need of an opportunity. Astute signings yet inexpensive. Roster rotation is pretty important I reckon. Hopefully it will sharpen up those in the team that have a nap now and again.
Go BA you good thing.

I've done a similar thing here: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=437729&page=6

You could add this year's squad and compare with next year's:

2014
Fullback: Hayne, Hunt
W/C: Hopoate, Radradra, Morgan, Tonga, Toutai, Sio, Faraimo
Half: Norman, Sandow, Paulo, Kelly, Pewhairangi
Hooker: Peats, De Gois, Pritchard
Edge forward: Ma'u, Edwards, Pauli, Moeroa, Ma'afu
Tight forward: Mannah, Lussick, Paulo, Mossop, Gower, Allgood, Terepo, Lasalo, Moimoi, Smith, Tanginoa

2015
Fullback: Hayne, Hunt
W/C: Hopoate, Radradra, Morgan, Champion, Toutai, Goodall, Faraimo
Half: Norman, Sandow, Matterson
Hooker: Peats, De Gois, Pritchard
Edge forward: Ma'u, Edwards, Pauli, Moeroa, Nelson
Tight forward: Mannah, Lussick, Paulo, Mossop, Gower, Allgood, Terepo, McPherson (trial contract)

Obviously we haven't finished announcing next year's signings, and might have a couple more seeya laters too.

Hindy hated to lose and didn't tolerate mediocrity either but it didn't stop us getting a wooden spoon. I'm assuming he's coming, so I guess I'll have to support him regardless of how much I can't stand the merkin!
I'm pretty sceptical of how much pride and effort he'll put into a jersey that doesn't have a Sea Eagle on it. I think it's always a risk taking on a player in the twilight of their retirement that has achieved everything in the game. It would be great to have him if he takes on the responsibility and shows some leadership but there is just as much of a chance that he could take his paycheque and coast into the final years of his career. I can think of better ways of spending $600k.

Hindy wasn't a leader. He wasn't the type to vocally rip into his mates if they're not putting in.

Watmough is IMO.

I'd say Watmough has more of a positive attitude as well. Hindy seems more fatalistic, especially if you've read his book.

Watmough would be lucky to ever read a f**king book, let alone write one.

I probably wouldn't be quite that harsh on Hindy. I'd say he wasn't a great leader of a team of our quality/culture (and no, I don't mean all that race shit that was going on in another 3 threads). There are several apparently strong leaders that we've never seen have to deal with a team that is in doldrums every week (rather than just for 20 minutes in a game).

I like the potential Watmough signing...hesitant about the length of deal, but if it runs 3 years then hopefully the final year is for a sensible amount.

and yet people say he has leadership ability

he has experience granted but doesn't strike me a a bloke with too much grey matter
