Yeah, suck it up Pearce. No CC medal for you this year. Oh that's right the other no 7 got it last year.

See what happens Roosters supporters when the mighty Adam Reynolds is there and the barnstorming Te'o.

Not many of your fans there couldn't here them a lot when you scored the first 2 tries.

Up the mighty bunnies!:D:D

Oh and thanks Hargreaves for your gifts tonight we appreciate it! You grub.

Well played Souffs. I for one don't begrudge you making the final - this year our boys just weren't quite the same. Something that was heavily reflected in our awful completion rate this last couple months.

Would you call it your most disappointing season? This Roosters fan I know says it's the most disappointing Roosters season he's witnessed 'because they didn't play one game for the full 80 with all of the talent they have'. I think that's a load of shit. You made the preliminary final regardless, and a lot of defending champions don't even go that far.

I think disappointing would probably be going a bit too far... particularly for anyone who remembers 2009 lol. But I do feel we didn't play to our potential this year and the side just seemed to lack the hunger and the cohesion we had last year.

You're right though - winning back to back minor premierships was still pretty impressive, but last year we dominated pretty well every stat and really deserved our position. This year was a little different as Manly looked the goods for most of the season and then we sort of fell over the line as they fell apart.

Credit to Souths though - I liked the way they chanced their arm on the 5th for their first two tries. They'd clearly done their homework on Shek and Tupou (who is a bit of a space cadet really).

Fair play to the Bunnies. It was rough watching that, but to be honest I always felt that result was on the cards if our boys fell back into their recent habit of handing over field position and possession with unforced errors. Just way too many again, and you just don't win footy games when you only complete 66% of your sets.

I know a lot of Roosters fans are really bummed out, but as a massive Roosters and Waratahs fan - member of both - I have had a f**king awesome past two years, so I'm not too bummed out. It was only a couple months ago that I was at the same stadium watching the mighty Waratahs beat the evil Crusaders juggernaut to break a 21 year hoodoo in the comp and a 10 year one against that team. So I'm still basking in that a little :D .

Good luck in the final Souths.

I think the best thing about that final was when the Tahs players tried to spray cider

Yes, two good years for the roosters and should be there abouts next year, even without SBW and Mini. Any idea who will be coming into the side to replace them?

Fergo will come into the side somewhere you'd imagine.
Bunnies just far far too good last night, dominance and control summed up the game. We got far dusted and can have no complaints really. Good luck and enjoy this upcoming week, great time to be a footy fan!

No way was it our most disappointing season
We got done in the prelim by the best team this year

I said at the start of the season Souths would win it and I never saw any evidence to the contrary.

The Roosters most disappointing season was 2009 - by a f**king mile. That team was good enough to challenge for a spot in the top 8 and were absolutely spineless all f**king year. The fact we finished rank bottom with just 4 wins all year speaks volumes. No one should have to suffer that shit.

This year we were just off the pace all year and looked like we were treading water to get to the finals. The only real disappointment for me was the Panthers game and had it not been for a referee not referring a decision (about the first one all year) we would have won that - although we probably didn't deserve to.

Ferguson into the centres and SKD onto the wing?
Although that would be horrible as SKD flaps around on the wing

Fergo to fullback to replace Mini and we'll go sign someone to replace SBW
We now have some room in the cap to do so. Although Fergo will probably chew a load of that.

If the plan was to put Ferguson at fullback, why keep moving RTS to fullback during games this year and last year? It would not make much sense. I think RTS will be at fullback and Ferguson in the centres myself.

Now I'm starting to see why people hate Souths.

Pearce played well and was really modest in defeat.
